German Power 3 by Mopar and feldpost.. Map by fastlegs. ( map is from tinymission2 mod ) MOW:AS ( ver 2.05.15 required as a minimum ) Play as Germany Vs Russia on an epic snowed in battlefield. - Features large scale heavy artillery battles... Werfers! Werfers! Werfers! - You will need them... - Reinforcements Available. - 4 Objectives to accomplish. - Heavy Artillery available at mission start. - Radio Operators have flare pistols to mark markets for artillery. - New custom vehicle skins ( look closely at the Panzer V ) Orange Skull on front of hull and ZZ on turret. - Reinforcement score is based on enemy soldiers killed... - Includes custom weapons sounds ( mg42,mp40, sg44, mauzer, & my custom mortar sound ) sg44 has a more realistic metallic rattle sound.. - Additional soldier talks added for cannons, humans and vehicles.. - Custom blood & smoke FX ( thanks for smoke fx TY2903 ) - Custom objects by vora bat - 2 use controllable dogs..

MISSION:

Play as Germany Vs Russia on an epic snowed in battlefield.

  - Features large scale heavy artillery battles... Werfers! Werfers! Werfers! -  You will need them...

I just wanted to say thank you so much for your perseverance and contribution to this wonderful mod conversion, I have just given it a whirl and it was a pleasure playing it. The intro sccreenshot to this mod immediately made me think of it being a painting on my wall with its striking colors and detail, it also reminded me of the old commando comics from years ago I used to read as a nipper, neat stuff.

The actual gameplay experience was spot on, I really liked the snow dust blowing/lingering in the air and the sound of the whistling wind, it had that kind of spooky but ambient sound to it, quite relaxing really, even the dogs howling to gave that particular edge to the game itself, even looking yonder in the distance into the abyss of the unknown of where the enemy was certainly added to the curiousity I had felt, so I got a soldier and ordered him to drive out towards the enemy and BAM!! bullets and shells came from nowhere, was a nice treat to see them red dots appear on the map lol, also thanks so much for adding the trucks with the extra reserve infantry, I really do enjoy that so much, it always appears so realistic watching them trucks chug along the snowy ground, then the infantry bailing out the back of the trucks, nice touch.

The sound fx of the artillery guns to always add to the excitement for me, as they always introduce themselves rough and straight to the point, really liked to the different headwear found in one of the vehicles, never saw that before, but am glad I have now as I know how different at times MOW:AS can be when a modder will put that extra imagination into a mod.

Thank you both for your time and efforts and patience and more importantly for sharing this mod conversion to the gaming community and the very best of luck to your future developments.

This is the last of the German Power series of mission..

In future i will be using the name Blitzkreig for german missions and the next mod is being named Blitzkreig 1

True to the blitzkreig name and tactics the player will have armor, artillery and air support and if course infantry....

hint is get as many points as you can before doing the check on artillery to west task..

Use snipers, and radiomen to clear positions and increase your score gradually, sometimes HE explosions will totally destroy the enemy bodies and these kills are not counted so to maximise your score try to shoot the enemy where possible....

Use your sappers to clear enemy mines and re plant them along suspected / known enemy attack routes..

Save your game often..

You are welcome to modify the mission for your own personal use just don't ruin a well balanced mission because you find it too hard, that is a noobs attitude..

Why is it so many people would rather cheat to make the missions easier than play and learn from the challenge, believe it or not you are only cheating yourselves of a rewarding learning experience...

Playing this mission as it is intended will make you a better player and playing on HARD you will notice how much better the AI and game play is compared to easy where the AI is simply dumb..

Hello, well now thats embarassing cause i telled lies and i am really sorry for that, i just saw that you can call infantry trucks but the icon confused me so i thought it was ammo...now i feel dumb. ye its okay its funny after i tried some more and i dont cheat i just want that there is no limit so i can have fun and dont need to count every infantrieman, I want to have fun and not to worry about every unit ingame...okay thats not really the case in your map cause there´s enough stuff...expect i cant refill tiger xD

Certain limits are there to ensure the mission runs smoothly, if the player was able to call too many units then the game would become unstable and a lag fest... As soon as a game lags i loose interest or maybe its just me...

I appologise for being abrupt in my response before too.....

i will release a special mission file including extra 88mm,75mm,50mm ammo to address the ammo shortage problem.....

Also capturing / clearing the Russian HQ of enemy will end the mission....

Well, I agree with you about the limits, you are right cause i had no problem about armored stuff...expect i used tiger without HE to storm a city..best idea ever xD well, i only had a limit problem with infantry but i did the mission with having like 6 infantry squads stil left but i just would feel better when i know that its okay if my "plan" fails and i maybe loose many infantry its still okay...well..but i guess thats just me cause i hate limits in every game, they give me a bad feeling somehow...by the way armored vehicles are so cheap xD 200 for 2 PanzerIV, 1 panzerIII and the other small anti infantry tank :D i really had no problems with armored vehicles^^ This map is just great btw i played it on hard and well..it was a bit easy in my opinion cause Tiger killed every defense position and the russian had nothing against it..expect KV2..those things were annoying^^

Well the thing with the german base is that i don't want to fortify it too much as it might make the russian attacks on the base a bit too easy to withstand but there have been watchtowers set up at the base and two PAK 40 guns in fortified positions as well as a HQ building with radio stations and so forth. However you will be given a AA FLAK 37 gun that can knock out is-2's, in Vanilla MOW version it was a FLAK 18, much weaker compared to the FLAK 37. I don't want to spoil the mission so much but after you complete 1 particular secondary objective you will be given another cannon with devastating firepower ;)(secret, secret, secret). With these weapons the base should be well secured and there are sandbag fortification kits in the engineer truck. About the 2 wooden bridges, both are now indestructable so no worries :). I may consider adding a reinforcement for anti-tank guns but in GP1D there will be serious repercussions for ordering reinforcements ;).

Later on this week i will release a harder version with the ruskies having some heavier units to improve balance and extra ammo too...

I agree about the difficulty, playing on hard i found it a bit too easy too..... maybe its because i knew what to expect and that i had play tested it many times gave me an advantage too....

Fog of War is intentional for realism...

You are welcome to edit the mission to your own personal taste and play it BTW.

When I try to call in those reserve troops/ cost's me 50MP but then nothing happen's. gotten to a stage where iv lost all my troopers all I can call in is tanks.

Hi All, a fixed version with non dissapearing troops in trucks when loading a saved game will be up soon... until then i suggest exiting the troops from the trucks before saving.....

Untested in MP /COOP, I only tested in SP....
