How do I set up a Host Game for Lan? Starting the integrated server wont work because of the wrong version (1.0) shown in the multiplayer menu :(

As i've mentioned elsewhere, there is a dedicated server running this mod. If you want to play in multiplayer just connect to the Olympus - Home of the Gods server

well, many more ppl would play a mod if it would support private hosting, but keeping server files just sucks...

What is the point of releasing the server files? So few people play Freelancer as it is now. Better to have a dedicated server for this particular mod, especially as the files are setup specifically for our server software, that simple
yea, and even fewer play freelancer because the main game gets boring after a while and most MP mods that look good are released without proper server files.
so they can't play with their friends instead of unknown people and because of that just quit the game...
oh and to the point with the server setup, it shouldn't be too difficult to just make a 1-click starter like the vanilla one
(and for more advanced people it shouldn't be to hard to change the configs as they like/need it)
Imagine you and your friends actually came and played on the server, you could have a party on there

It's the only server that shows up that you can connect to in the server listings
