The long awaited first release of the Generals 2 mod!
Rejoice, children of Nod! The English version of the Generals 2 mod is here!
Please note:
- Changes have not yet been made to the campaigns, attempting to play campaigns will cause the game to crash.
- Naval units are not part of the current version, but they are being worked on.
- All audios in the current version, including unit voices and sound effects, are placeholders. They will be changed in future versions.

Was fixed after setting bot at "easy"
I can't seem to get it working,i have the origin version if that makes any difference
Did you type in " -ui" in game properties?
i had the -ui set and i finally got the mod to launch but i can't seem to play a skirmish game without it crashing when it loads. unless it's strictly network based?

I have the origin version too. I'm not sure which files to replace.
Go to the Red Alert 3 folder in your documents and drop the mod folder into "mods".
please i had an annoying problem when i tap play in the launcher and this is the error : game wont start beacuse Licensing Server . the problem happened after the update to v 1.12 ??

How to install??
Doesn't work for me. I have other mods installed and installed it the same way:
*Origin version so I have Bibbers patch
*Put files in mod folder
*Add:
-modconfig "C:\Users\Chris\Documents\Red Alert 3\mods\RA3Generals2\RA3Generals2_1.0.skudef"
to Destination in a RA3 shortcut.
But it doesn't work for this mod, any help??
I had to download another launcher. Which I swear was the same one I had. That Bibber one. I'm thinking now that I only had it set for zero hour.
I have that too, as mentioned, and I have mods on Yuri's Revenge up to RA3 installed and working, but it only launches vanilla RA3 when creating a launch file for the mod like I did for the other mods. I think I originally did it as the "-ui" thing didn't work messed up, if I for some reason can't do it for this I'll have to wait sadly.
-modconfig "C:\Users\Chris\Documents\Red Alert 3\mods\RA3Generals2\RA3Generals2_1.0.skudef. That's not what I did. I don't think the skudef file goes in the shortcut.
Try what this guy says to do.
-modconfig skips the step where you choose the mod and just launches the game like you already chose it. Had issues with using "-ui".
Edit: But it worked. Still weird why the "-modconfig" option doesn't. Btw, you only need "-ui" despite what he says in the video.
and it also works without putting anything into Origin.

stopped working when click begin to play
I love having snipers again. Though they have trouble reacting. I like the Valkyrie. But rather than functioning like the other helicopter it would be cool if it could fire a small volley of rail gun rounds like the zone trooper from The Tiberium wars. I really like the units not dying and being destroyed as fast as on Red Alert 3. I hated that. Has a good Generals vibe. Been missing that for a long time.
Game is amazing man. Ra3 engine is powerful and it did a wonderful project. I can't wait for naval units to release and apart of some few bugs game is ******* amazing. Some other things you may consider changing is units more big on map as i struggle to see them; although i'm wearing glasses :)) and the other thing maps more properly for generals or make them look like zero-hour maps. That all! :)

At first i would like to thank u so much for this epic mod:
but some disadvantages
the size of soldiers is very big compared with tanks
tanks and planes are very weak compared with soldiers
wish camera zoom out increased more , to cover more distance on the map
wish to have more units and have naval next updates

This is amazing, can't wait to see what you release next. Is there any way to slow the game-speed down?
hey man how did you get the mod to work. im sitting here with it i created a mods folder in documents under Red Alert 3 and put all three files in it and them tried it with putting the files in the folders that had .skudef files and the folder with .big files but neither work. I have bibbers launcher and it just launches red alert when i launch the game.
Do a clean install of the game, put the "RA3Generals2" folder in the mods folder (the one you create in documents) and follow the steps in this video (he does Origin, then Steam, then retail):
That's what worked for me. The work put in to this mod is outstanding and I love the units, but the absurdly fast speed of Red Alert 3 makes it impossible to formulate any kind of strategy. If there were any way to slow things down, the units could truly shine and you could launch tremendous, coordinated attacks. That's on the developers though for being too lazy to have a simple game-speed option, not the modders. Excellent work and please keep it up.
Thanks man, and well thats just red alert 3 in general. Isn't this just a map/ unit conversion? I want it just for the factions/units. If i like red alert 3 by it self is it better with this?
Yes you will like it, I'm a huge fan of the original Generals and prefer a slower, more strategic pace. Or atleast the option to change it like in Tiberium Wars/Kane's Wrath.

anyone can help me :(( in skirmish it doesn't have any map and in battle participants i cant choose anything
Imma download this cause I prefer a mod I can understand rather than torture myself to how does one frickin unit works
The Mod crashes, when Skirmisch or Campain starts! The other Mods in my folder all funktion very well exept the General mod. Sombody can tell me whats the reason?
ok, problem solved! You must create another Profile, then it works!!!
Start the mod, go to manage profiles and create one, then you can play the mod with the new profile name, that's it!
