This mod is based on the recently released Star Wars novel, Death Troopers. It adds the Undead from the book and Star Wars Galaxies into the game as a non-playable faction in the Galactic Conquest maps Equal Footing and Gateways. I'd like to thank Redtachi for allowing me to use his awesome Deathtrooper models. This is a very early release, so expect many more features to come such as Infected space fleets and new skirmish maps.
NOTICE: Only the Galactic Conquest campaigns "Equal Footing" and "Gateways" have been modified so far, so any other part of the game will not be any different. I plan to release another version which features all new skirmish maps and GCs. However, don't count on it too much, you never know what will happen.

This mod has actually been in development for a long time, I just never bothered to make a moddb profile. This version was actually first released on December 30, 2009 on Empire at War files.

That's basically it. It's based on a novel which despite the incredibly cheesy premise was quite good. I hated the ending though.
Not to be mean or anything, but why make a mod with an UNPLAYABLe faction? Isn't that kind of stupid? I mean, can you explain what the purpose is to me in a PM?
Have you played Empire at War at all? Unplayable factions, namely the Black Sun pirates and the Hutts, played a huge role in the first game and the campaign of the expansion. The way the Undead are set up, it would not be fun at all to control them. They're there for fighting, not for commanding, and if I do say so myself I think I hit the nail on the head with the 'zombie horde' feeling. There will be playable 'easter egg' zombies in skirmish, but this is a Galactic Conquest mod and entirely focuses on that portion of the game. It currently does not even affect space skirmish in any way. If you're mainly a skirmish player, you might not like this mod as much as other mods. That's ok.
