FX v1.85: New Hope file

What were some of the bugs in v1.84 and do i need it for this version to work

Love every thing about it.Plz do more,and more that game could not die,since the wont do the third part...

were can I find the Update that i need to play this mod?

Every time I try to start up to play it, it says "This application has failed to start because gslobby.dll was not found"
It does this every time

Hey, for those of you that get the crash when u go to start(sorry its late and cant remember the wording but i think it is dep for the letters) remove the fx from the homeworld2fx.exe line, now one more thing, please add in the ability to use the options for gameplay from homeworld 1, i hate having to gather resources and making a game take for ever, ty and nice mod.

Ya i did that and i still get the error. Are you talking about in the Bin/Release folder? I am new to this mod and i realy want to play it. Also its because i think the needleship is one of the best sci-fi ships out there.

it seems to me that i have FX v1.84 even though the shortcut says "FX MOD v1.85"
the vaygar has the defense carrier/cruiser, i can't read the kedash description, I CAN'T PLAY THE KEDASH ON LAN(when i try i can start out fine but then after awhile it says "out of sync" to one of the players and there gone from the game)! if someone can help me that would be great. also, sometimes when you play other races the "out of sync" thing pops up and it stops working! I've given up playing this game in multilayer.

Theres one small glitch/bug I noticed, When you play as Taiidan race you can't have your own custom colors because almost all the ships come out Gray, the only ship that came out not Gray is a Attack Bomber.

Right then, I get a message when I try and start the game saying EXACTLY "The procedure entry point ?SaveAll@LuaConfig@@QAEX_N0@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library luaconfig.dll"

Can someone please help out because that is meaningless to me.

it says its a RAR file ? i cant open it, and dont know where to put it for installation, have tried homeworld2/data file but nothing.

Fx 1.85 english doesn't work on my Vista 64Bit Lap Top. It works how ever on my main computer with vista 32bit. But because i'm not often at home i wish me that you add support for the fx mod on win Vista 64bit.

Can someone PLZ post how to fix the gslobby.dll not found error? I've been wayting a couple of months now to play this mod.

Look on your homeworld cd or google it. I'm sure you can download it somewhere. then install it into the game \Bin directory.

i dont know how to work this mod on my xp! for some reasone zip files and rar files dont seem to work. however, exe files DO work on my xp. i need to know how to run zip and rar files on my xp. because this mod is awsome!!! please reply soon.

ZuulMK2,yes you do need v1.1 also it dosn't go in the homeworld 2/data/folder/, it goes in the homeworld 2/folder!

For those of you that dont want to use WinRAR you can use 7zip. It is a free open source compression program that can extract rar files as well as almost all other formats of compressed files including zip and iso.

hey i cant get this mod to load. i installed it in the homeworld 2 directory, and when i click on the shortcut icon, the screen goes black like its loading and then it quits back to desktop. please help!!

Ok I just figured out how to play this mod. AWSOME!!! I think the only thing that could make this mod better is a merge with another mod i have, its called 'Unified Hiigaran Fleet'. Google that.

And #2, The needleships should have higher attack points. Or just make bonus attack research for all ships. The Reason is that when i play as any race against the progenitors, i get creamed BIGTIME.

Also for the progenitor, i think having a more organised ship building list would serve well. I mean the destroyer is a frigate for some reason. And I hardley find any use for fighter class vessels after i have a dreadnought built so mabe give them more defense capabilities.

I'm sorry if i'm just being overly critical i just want to point out the minor flaws i find while in play.

The last thing before i go, Why cant i save my game!!! I enjoy playing player VS. CPU mode but when i save the game it closes the game and doesn't save. So my hour and a half of building up a fleet to attemt once and for all to defeat the progenitor empire is all gone. It makes me very angry. X( I would like to know if i installed it wrong or if its made that way because i really think this mod deserves an 11 out of 10 and i want to play extra long games.

I would like to add that more than half the Campaigns for player vs cpu and the fx tutorial thing are incomplete.

No i mean as soon as i start playing it shuts down the entire game. And your link is brocken. I got an error.

I think its time we start posting ideas for a new release. Here are some of mine.

1. If you capture an enemy mothership or carrier, you can build ships with it but only ships of that race.

2. Add the Kushan, Bentusi and HWC races.

3. Make the Taiidan, Kadeshi, Progenitor,etc... ships colour changable and with the badges.

4. Complete the campaign games.

5. Lower the progenitor ships firepower by at least half.

6. If possible sometime in the future make single player mini games for each race. (maybe 2-3 campaign style levels in a row)

Did u install it right? When it says install to a folder browse for your homeworld 2 folder. That was my first problem.

Firstly i can't seem to download the patch on the orginial homeworld 2 from sierra, and when i used an independent site it downloaded but when i try to install the patch it comes up with "old file not found".

"this program has stopped working" everytime i luanch the EXE. and yes it was installed to my /homeworld folder not /bin
