Description

This is a rerelease of the previous version, which will HOPEFULLY improve stability and loadability. Fingers Crossed. This shold have been a patch, but I have not been well enough to do it like that, so it is the full version updated, sorry about that!

There may be an issue with some background screens, I am a bit confused as I haven't touched anything for quite a while, yet it may be that a piece of art got deleted some how...confusion!

Mediafire.com

Link to background graphic glitch.

Just unzip and add to the Fallout-TTW Folder and overwrite as requested.

Currently uploading the fixed version as well, so this step should only be necessary for those who downloaded early.

If you get a pink screen in places like the civic screen, then you need this.

Hey there bud! The mod looks nice. I downloaded it and tried to install it, however I kinda failed and it doesn't seem to load. I have to save it to my mods file in Beyond the Sword right?

FireaxisGames/Civ4/BeyondtheSword/Mods... correct? I am a bit confused, maybe you could help me out here or maybe direct me to a installing guide for mods, sorry for the trouble.

That should work...

One thing you could try is making a shortcut to run the mod directly, or try running it using the default setting in the civ4.ini file found somewhere like here:

C:\Users\Me\Documents\My games\beyond the sword\civilizationIV.ini

; Specify a Mod folder (Mods\Mesopotamia), '0' for none
Mod = Fallout-TTW

If that doesn't work, try redownloading, incase you got a corrupt download.

Or try running the mod a few times, every now and then I get the experience where civ or a mod just doesn't load, then I do it again and it is fine.

Also you can try switching off xml caching in the same .ini file. If you don't know how to do that you can PM me.

Ok so it looks like somehow the traits are broken again, despite nothing having been done to them since the last time I witnessed them working correctly... I just don't understand...

Ok so there may be a pattern to the trait madness. We are currently exploring the possibility that the Traits work on the longer speed settings, but not quick and normal.

We will investigate further and I will see what shakes out!

I'm on Mac, I try using the Unarchiver to make it into a folder in my mods folder, and then it tells me multiple parts are corrupt. How can i fix this? Also I had XML load errors trying to load the last version.

Sorry, unfortunately the mod is not compatible with Mac. This is because it uses a custom .dll and whoever did the porting of Civ to Mac neglected to put in the support for this.

Sorry there is nothing I can do to help. It is a sucky part of CivIV on Mac..

I had a good time with it. I'm reinstall and enjoy this.
Thanks for everybody who worked on this. : -)
