Works wonderfully! Although the installer puts a Homeworld2 folder in the Homeworld2 folder if you select that ;)
One suggestion, map a semi-transparent keyboard map to F9 or something like that so that people can hit it to remember the buttons, I keep forgetting how to fire missiles :P
well, I got it to run, but every time I start a player versus CPU game, it immediatly says my fleet has been defeated. help?
You must choose "testing race" for yourself and another CPU player as well, H&V are for the other 2 CPU players, I've writen how to choose races in the game-setup choices.

ok, and everything is also in numbers, there are like no words in the settings only things like "S1056" and stuff like that. how can this be changed?
Are you sure you used the shortcut that the program created for you? This mod has a localized big file and it must be loaded, check if you have freelocal.big in your data folder and your command line contains " -locale freelocal".

Can someone please tell me the install path i should choose? it would help if the instructions were in the description or a readme that comes with the installer, cheers :P
