This Remake mod is exclusive to all FF7 Fans requesting for a remake and it is absolutely free. My objective is; To enhanced the original game with the enhanced original models and To encourage fans to try this non-profit project to be played in pc.

Installation:
*Installation Password: jinkazama2k7
NOTE: Do not just copy and paste the password, type it manually
*Just copy everything in c:\program files\final fantasy VII then paste it in the original game
*go to final patch folder and install MO.Exe then after that install patch2.exe make sure the file destination is in your games directory.
[I will ask this question here too. since squire now sells this in their download store, the install method might now be different, the original cd version game might be hard to find now!]

can I install ok this wonderful looking mod, into the program folder? there is no cd, of course, here, for the game download. the original graphics really need an upgrade.

you must installed the old version of the game not the 2012, if you have installed it copy all the folders in C:\Program Files\Final Fantasy VII to the original game. Just refer to the guide :D

on windows vista, win7 and i think probability win8 you will need to do this:-
1) go to C:\Program Files\Final Fantasy VII\Driver Key Mod Pack
2) right click on the one you need to use go to edit
3) try below if you are on window vista or above
4) copy and paste below over the old hkey
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Square Soft, Inc.\Final Fantasy VII]
5) it should now look similar to this

ff7config.exe crashes when I'm trying to run it. I have windows 7 and FF7 Ultima edition. I did everything like in installation guide and everything what BlackWindx wrote. Please, help me

I finally got it all figured out, so this mod does work for the new FFVII Remake, I realized that the patch wasn't getting extracted to the main folder instead it created its own folders. I finally have the new character models and they are not pixelated anymore. However I tried starting a new game and didn't see the new FMV intro movie load.
Plus the scripts got kind of mixed up now, during a dialogue I can't read the whole thing, I have to guess the remainder. And I'm not sure what other thing's I should be noticing, is the sound suppose to be different? the only differences I see are the character models which still is really sweet
