Description
The Enhanced 4X Mod version 1.5 for Rebellion version 1.1. To install, download the file, extract it to your Mods-Rebellion v1.1 folder, and enable it from the mods tab in game. The checksum should be 28526130. 1.5 adds the new ship upgrade feature, two new planet types, dozens of planet textures from Infinite Space, the renaming of most factions, some streamlining of the Hero system, and various tweaks and bug fixes.

If you have link troubles with any moddb download, try copy the link on the download now button, delete everything after "...start/#####", and add "/all", like this. Moddb.com
This will let you see all the mirrors, so you can choose one (usually gamefront is the only one with issues) that works.
I am having an issue where after I click a link(Any of them) it just opens a window that continuously loads. Gamefront link brings me to the next page and makes the countdown but then does the same constant loading. Any ideas?
Also I have been following this mods progress over the past 3 years or so and I have to say I am inspired by your creativity and ingenuity.
Uh, did you trying using a non-Gamefront mirror as well? You might want to try it with a different web browser as well.
I'm flattered but this particular mod has only been out for a bit more than a year. :p I have been Sins modding for about 3 years though, so if you including my other projects thank you. :-D

Uh, to my knowledge the latest version of Rebellion is 1.1. If you mean 1.04 you need to update. Then yes, it will work, just get the 1.501 hotfix as well.

Merhaba aksaray. If you're talking about Rebellion I'm afraid the only way to update the game is through steam, you'll need to contact their support if it is not working. If you mean the mod previous versions don't matter, just download and extract this in your mod folder. If the download isn't working, try this link and don't select a gamefront link. Moddb.com

1.1 is the latest official version. Steam should be doing that for you automatically, assuming it is used in your region.
This mod is amazing. And if used correctly, i'm sure anyone out there good enough could create a warhammer 40k mod.
All we need are ships of their designs. Also, would it be possible to create an 'invasion' mode. I think it would be a great tactical twist if you could deploy ground forces to take the planets in one peace, avoiding the unnecessary reconstruction of the planet's population and structures. You could also garrison troops on planets once you've done the necessary research (or different planet types having different garrison limits).
If this concept is possible to do, i would look into adapting the colonizing abilities and merge it with something like the allegiance count, so that you can track the forces progress and their influence on the population (they either switch allegiance to you or fight back)
This would then, in my opinion, complete the 4x concept.

I have a little problem with your mod, it just after some time drops my game, sometimes I need to restart PC. Do you know what may cause this ?
Drops your game? Does that mean it crashed, freezes, slows down or what?
After some time it just drop to black screen, and it happens on large maps,..

i downloaded my sins rebellion off steam. how do i get this mod on then?
Everyone got Rebellion off steam, its a steamworks game. All you really have to do is download the file and put it in your mod folder (more detailed instructions Steamcommunity.com). Also get the 1.501 patch, it will fix a crash issue.

On a large map with 5 more computer AI (88 planets tornado i think) Just about to finish upgrading most of mys tuff and placed my defences ect (3h50mins into the game) it slows down and crashes the game to be unresponsive. I tried loading a earlier game point but same thing, kinda gutted as I was having alot of fun with this mod =/
Did you get the 1.501 hotfix? That fixed the reoccurring crashes for most people. There is a major slowdown I'm still tracking down that seems to have something to do with the Coronata titan of all things. If you think that might be in your case, please send your save to me.
Yeah already had the hotfix before I played, There is one of each race on the game so if I just remove that race of titan the mod should work as normal again? and im not to sure on how to send saves im not that clever ( ._.) lol
If it is the same issue I've been trying to track down I think so. You can get it out of your save games folder and upload it to something like dropbox or sendspace. If you have a moddb account I could PM you my Email so you could send it as an attachment as well, but I don't want to post that in the comments.

umm, what about the optional minimods? can they work with vanilla retribution?
Retribution? You mean Rebellion? It depends, some of the minimods need to be used with Enhanced 4X (the picture in the minimod's download shows you the mod order), others will work by themselves and even with other mods.
Had this mod working yesterday. But now I am getting a minidump crash every single time I attempt to launch the mod. Mini mods appear to load fine. But the E4X mod itself can no longer be launched. It is not visible when installed into the rebellion 1.1 folder and visible in rebellion 1.5 folder. On loading the mod from the 1.5 folder I recieve a crash and the game closes.
Yeah, the Sins patch released today broke most mods. :( As confusing as this is, Enhanced 4X 1.5 does not work with Rebellion 1.5. I will release a new version with all the new features I've done so far as soon as I can. :D
