Eastern Front Fans,
The 1.50 patch is now released. Includes criticals for some soviet units, new music for soviets and many bug fixes reported by the community or found by us.
We wanted to release this the last month, but considered than would be a rushed release prefered to delay it a little longer, we hope you enjoy the results of our work.
Another feature included is, a new mode was implemented for the Blitzkrieg/Red Tide Challenge called "Fortress Mode" similar to the previous modes, but completely focused on defense. Facing waves of enemies, each one stronger than the previous one.
There are new maps for this update as well, we proudly announce the inclusion of four new maps:
- Lemberg (4) by MaxiKing6
- Karachev (2) by Sylver
- Kalach (6) by cephalos/MaxiKing6
- Stalingrad Railroad Station (4) by BurroDiablo
Another surprise is that Cranialwizard and WartyX made a guide for EF units (don't worry, linky will be posted soon).
Also, Eastern Front now will have support for Simplified Chinese texts, so the player can choose if he want to use Traditional or Simplified Chinese translations (only appliable for EF texts - pending at this moment).
At last but not least, we would like to invite you to join to our 2vs2 Tournament, you can find more information on this topic:
EF 2v2 Tournament 2, there will be some prizes for the winner(TBD).

i dont want to be stupid but why is these 1 gb and the one i have downloaded from the launcher is 245 mb????
The one hosted on this page is if you don't have EF installed, so it contains ALL the EF files.
The one that the launcher downloads only includes new or changed files, because you already have the core ones ;)
The price showed for the soviet AA guns on the Red Tide/Blitezkrieg map is not the actual price because the shown price is the price of the ebps but not the full sbps squad. The crew is not free.
I will investigate and add to the next patch if you are correct. Thanks

Yes it is. Its the reward unit for the ISU-152.

How do i get the AA guns and stuff. it seems my russians are very lacking abilities, upgrades, and hardware.
The tank selection is AWESOME and well thought out. The infantry is really good but lacks a supporting machinegun team. Limiting of only one artillery piece that is wildly inacurate is disapointing. Engineers could use the ability to build more support weapons and more fortifications.
In all a really great mod but seems to lack a little bit in the support department.
I really want to play this game but i have a problems with this game. I cannot start the game. It is giving me this error. :S What can i do?

Hey Speein, I had this same problem too. Here is what I did. Bring up the Eastern Front Launcher, go to settings (upper right hand corner in the window), then in that window there should be a "CoH Directory" with a select options. Select the CoH directory and then click OK.
Also here is my directory, I bought it on Steam just a little bit ago.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\company of heroes

Hello Eastern Front developers, I love this mod without a doubt my favorite mod for CoH. I was wondering could you guys update this mod to have an infantry only mode. But to also have the no population limit accessible at the same time. I would also want there to be an AI modification so that they don't come to a point where they stop building infantry. Another thing I was thinking it would be cool if the brits got the slit trenches back, but only if you’re playing with the infantry only mod. Of course the branches would have to be modified for infantry only as well. But yeah that’s what I was thinking; hope maybe some people on your team agree. :)
Everytime i try to launch it it keeps saying it cannot locate the company of heroes file, whats up?
I have it on steam and i tried to add the COH Directory to the option under settings, but when i press the play button nothing happens. What should i do??
Usually waiting helps. It takes a while for mine to start you just need to be patient. If that doesn't work then I am sorry. :/

Somewhat wrong in this game !? In the half game freeze my screen i have pitures some time 4-5 sec then black screen and ShutDown EF.Sory my English is terrible! What happened with EF ?

You need CoH to be patched up to 2.602 to unlock Soviets.

Works with any combination of CoH and it's expansions, as long as you have the latest patch (2.602)
