(How to Install DBS!)
In order to Play DBS, you Must Have (Half-Life 2, Source SDK Base and Steam). These Must be all LEGAL Copies. DBS does Not Support Hacked Version's of HL2 or Steam! Uninstall your old DBS copy if you have an older version, it is always better to do a clean install on software.
Step: #1 - Install Half-Life 2.
Step: #2 - Install “Source SDK Base” From your Steam Window, Under “Tools” In Steam.
Step: #3 - Run the "MSI Program" and Extract it to this location "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\DBSource"

but where to download half life 2 and the sdk base and what tools under steam tell me pls how????
to download half-life 2 you need to buy it, and tools are in
Store|Community|Games|Media|Tools - the top bar on the steam thing...
to buy half-life 2 just search on steam and you will find it xD
Half life 2 you have to buy in the store as for sdk base you simply go into your library and find the little drop arrow at the top click tools open it and download sdk base 2006 and 2007

Hey, How are you. I'm not so new at ESF but at the newer versions yes I am. I thank you for making such a good mod. And I respect your non criminal act to be safe over hacked steam users. I'm having difficulty understanding how to do this. I will show you a IMG of my Game library. If I do not have the right HL2 please notify me I will buy it.
The DBSource 0.1.4 is in the list and read to play. But When I do Launch it it opens HL2.EXE in the task list and then disappears after 22 seconds.
Strange. Please help me.

Yo i Dled the map, but where is the DBSource part of C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\DBSource or is that the file name?. all i can get to is SourceMods. plz help me out

I REaD IT A MILLION TIMES, I INSTALLED THE SERVER FILES THEN CLIENT FILES still noghting happens, were can i find the msi file
MSI file is inside of the "DragonballSource v0.1.4 (Client Files)" zip download. If can't find the msi file then you have not installed the game.
Nice guide man but in my tool tab there is no source sdk base

but where will you have the Dbs File?

i done it just cant see half life 2 or dbz sorce in steam!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HOW TO INSTALL DBALL SOURCE
you will need half life 2 and its not a free game you will need to play once or just open it up.
you need source sdk base...thats free its in your tool section on steam
step1: download dbs i did this site Halflife2.gamefront.com
step2: once you download it extract it to your desktop
step3: then click it to install it which is msi then once you get to where it tells you to install it to press next even if it has valve.....mine had valve/steam/steamapps/sourcemods/dbsource....which is fine
step4. go to your c drive/program files and look for you valve folder once you get there go to steam then click steamapps then click source mods then when you get to dbsource folder right after sourcemods COPY IT..
step5:go to program files this time your goin to click steam not valve once u open up steam folder go to steamaaps once you open that 1 you should have a sourcemod folder if not create one open that it want have anything in it but right click then paste then it should put the dbsource folder in it after that close up then restart steam and your game should be on your list if not ask me
