Here's a few suggestions I have for the Immersive mod:
• Armour should absorb more damage, it takes almost nothing. You usually die with 90 armour left.
• I don't mind the faster enemies, but the zigzag way they run is messed up. They should run towards you.
• You should be able to carry way more grenades than just 15.
• There should be a grenade quick-throw button, otherwise they're quite useless.
• Your own weapons do way too much damage to yourself.
• The pistol reload should be quicker; it becomes useless 30 minutes into the game.
• Reloads for all weapons should be quicker, or at least, after you reload, you shouldn't be a sitting duck for about 2 extra seconds.
• Imp fireball splash damage radius is a large as a rocket's, it's ridiculous, almost every time you dodge you still get hit.
• The screen goes white when you get hit, it looks rough and is distracting.
• The camera shouldn't jerk to the ceiling every time you get hit.
• You should be able to kill one of those tentacle soldiers with a single grenade.
• There should be an "Always Run" option.
• If you drop from even a little more than your own jump height, you lose about a fifth of your health(!)
• CstDoom3 had a little mod which makes the code for a cabinet (or whatever) appear in the corner of the screen when you hover the mouse over this screen. This is cool, but even better would be a texture modification to write the code actually *on* the cabinet.
Please let me know what you think about some of these ideas.
Your Immersive mod is the *only* way I play Doom 3 any more and it'd be so great to get these little issues fixed.

unable to get a screenshot because the in game function doesn't capture console output, and the debugger doesn't work right with the steam overlay active (as far as I can tell) but in specifics, seems to affect the kiosk, and chaingun texture, as well as any texture that uses transparency.
any chance you could upload a version that works right off the bat for us VR users?
a steady stream of people are getting into doom 3 bfg VR and high resolution textures make a HUGE difference in VR when using supersampling, but there seems to be issues.
could you just upload a version that just has texture data that replaces the original games art, and nothing else? some of the extra files seems to crash the game in vr. it would REALLY help out!
I'd say keep doing it this way. Makes it easier for people who don't use Windows.

mods get the textures from the main game, just run Immersive. Also I didnt make the Immersive mod, the voodoo did.

Textures aren't loading correctly, and the ones that do seem rather pixelated.

bfg does read pk files if thats what you mean. and no that would just make loading slower.

Impossible to run at 4k . It works at 720p always. I have tried everything on the internet.
