Fi……nally, I've got some time and finished part of the translation! Basically, most necessary texts is done by now, and I think it would be enough for you to enjoy the skirmish. But you should know that there's also a single mission of campaign and an advanced shirmish mode that still need to be fully translated. Well, I guess that's not gonna finish these days, so...I decide to put it here first, and translate the rest part of the mod later...
Three .big files will be used. Put them into your data folder.
Main File: dtmod.big
Music Package: dtmusic.big
Localized FIle: dtlocal.big
but...I don't know why, there's a...little problem here:
If everything is correct, then use following commandline:
-mod dtmod.big,dtmusic.big -locale dtlocal
It should work but without voices (that's because there isn't a dtlocalspeech.big)
If it works fine, then copy your englishspeech.big and raname it to dtlocalspeech.big then enjoy
You may also use:
-mod dtmod.big,dtmusic.big,dtlocal.big
without copy your englishspeech.big
You may also remove dtmusic.big from both data folder and commandline, by doing so, you'll not allowed to play SP Campaign or enjoy DT MOD's selected Music. But the mod itself would still work fine.
But somehow, it seems to be quite possible that it doesn't work. You may not be able to get into the game at all. I don't know why but I figured out a solution:
If this really happened, then use the forth .big file like this:
-mod dtmod.big,dtmusic.big,dtlocal.big,dttest.big
Remember that the ORDER IS VERY IMPORTANT, dttest.big should be loaded LAST.
Hopefully that would work, I'm using this method right now so I would have no idea if it won't.
Strange thing is, dttest.big only contains an unmodified newmainmenu.lua from the original HW2!
Does someone know possible reasons why such a problem occurs?
Wow. nice fighter.
Hi, I didn't had the time to check the details, but I'll get some time to fully test it. Some ideas are promising and others are a bit confusing. Only playing to state what they really are all about.
I advise to localize to english the single mission, so we can understand your back story on this Vaygr campaign.
And the Interceptor is very cool, but haven't tested in-game.
The campaign, well...I don't know even I could finish the Chinese version...quite a long time for a single mission, no need to mention that it won't be such an 'original' campaign system...
The mod works perfectly, and I have English voices without having to use the englishspeech.big
I used this; -mod dtmod.big,dtmusic.big,dtlocal.big
It seems to take a long time to get more ships to build! But it is very well done!!
Congratulates then, hope you enjoy =)
