Back2Fronts 1.0 full release for Call of Duty 2 singleplayer game (and minor multiplayer).
Back2Fronts is an extensive mod that will overhaul your Call of Duty 2 game to a next level. This mod brings more variety, intensity, realism and battle-like experience. Try new weapons, fight new enemies, fulfil new missions and explore new options. Mod is SP and MP friendly (although primary part is SP).
MAIN FEATURES:
1) sprint added
to start sprinting player must be standing and moving (in any direction)
sprint is started by double tap of "USE" button
sprint is ended when player runs out of stamina or when "USE" button is released
player can sprint in any direction (forwards, backwards, sidewards)
2) firemode switch for selected weapons added
selected weapons offer a secondary firemode (semi-auto or slow-auto)
to switch to a secondary firemode player must hold down the "USE" button for 1 second
weapons that offer secondary fire are: AVT40, BAR, Bren, FG42, M2 Carbine, MAB38, MG34, MP41, MP44, PPSh, Sten, Thompson´and ZB26
3) 45 new hand-held weapons
4) 15 new grenades
5) 4 new stationary machine guns
6) 3 new usable artillery guns (British 6pounder, German PAK43 and German C36)
7) 3 new vehicles (German King Tiger, German Panzer IV and Russian T34/85)
8) 9 new SP maps accessable from menu and added to storyline (2 German, 2 American, 1 British, 1 Anglo-American and 3 Russian)
9) all SP maps modified to maximalize realism (usage of correct guns, vehicles etc.)
10) Back2Fronts combats and options menus added to options menu
11) load saved game menu added to main menu
12) Back2Fronts info menu added to main menu
13) Back2Fronts mod has full English (text) localization
14) new characters added (German Honorguard, German Fallschirmjagers, German winter SS, summer Russians, British paratroopers)
15) added support for British portable MG guys
16) added chin straps for German soldiers
17) winter and normandy versions of German armored car (SdKfz222) added
18) winter and african versions of Tiger I added
19) British versions of Jeep and Sherman added (without US star)
20) winter Sherman created
21) halftracks can have MG34 or MG42 turrets (depending on time period)
22) enemies will drop their weapon if shot into the holding (right) arm/hand
23) random bloody screens for hurted player
24) 94 new death sounds added to Germans, 85 new pain sounds added to Germans
25) 8 new death sounds added to Americans/British, 9 new pain sounds added to Americans/British
26) 5 choke death sounds added to all fighting parties
27) new menu music and new British tank battle music
28) enhanced artillery and vehicle sounds (type of artillery or vehicle can be identified by its sound)
29) enhanced player sounds (gear rattle, shellshock etc.)

Man i see a bug i dont see amcerican ai to have grease gun or shotgun and british dont have new weapons on normal levels just on new ones and here is my idea please if you want can you make add shotgun for british and fix the weapons to show in all levels because i dont see any american or british to have new weapons in levels and yea for russian ai the save thing and for germans i dont know but please check this because i want to see all weapons in this game for ai it more awesome this way

I encountered germans with these things in british campaign
Yeah its just the Russian campaign that doesn't have them much.
And it was bloody annoying

Cant play any of the levels
It always says failed to load German_toujane_col_nz
(ecept for the map red army training there it says failed to load Loadscreen_moscow_nz)
I already set more video memory (one fourth of my Vram 2GB) and shortened the file names for the mod and kept the Z Prefix but still keeps crashing
But hey its first release so im not too angry about that.

The mod is really cool but I think you need to add more maps for germany compaign , and I think more weapons.
If the previous download was 1.27GB, and this new B2F 1.0.1 update is 1.32GB, I wonder what tweaks or changes have been applied here.

I have not find any bug yet. Completion is very good!
but Friendly AI become too much weak , they are so few and can't hit any german

Yeah the mod could have used an option for "Enhanced Friendly AI" or something like that :(
I wouldn't say the friendlies became weak, so much as the germans accuracy, weapon damage output and lower recoil has made them more harder and powerful. Because I've noticed that even on regular difficulty, I'm having a harder time with the enemies myself, especially when it comes to snipers. Since his mod greatly enhances and changes the weapon attributes (animations, accuracy, recoil, damage etc.) it benefits the player as much as the enemies.
I noticed that there aren't any new blood effects and you can't use mortars. I wonder why that stuff by WCP didn't make it in? Perhaps it was just an oversight.
I noticed the same thing. For blood effects, you can always download WCP's blood mod which comes separately from his Reality mod (just google it). It's not as nice or varied and detailed (no gibbing and or blood pools and only a slight variation in blood effects) but it's better than nothing. As for the mortars, I can't say, since it was included as part of WCP's mod and I don't know if there's any way of adding it in separately, especially since it's a script mod.
I must admit I've never followed this mod too closely because I was always unsure as to whether it would ever be released but I had a huge surprise on the 25th. I've had some time to play past the D-day landings and I must admit that the realism of this mod is something activision could only dream about for their cods. I love the new maps very much and the prison one has so far been my favourite probably because it came as a huge surprise. Anyway many many congratulations to you for creating a very successful and amazing mod :) :) :)
oh and a quick question, I've just completed the last British campaign however it keeps resetting me back to the beginning of final section of the British campaign again. I've tried manually loading the level however it won't let me. Have you got any suggestions??
check if all british missions have a sign "completed" at the top right corner. if any of them has "not started" or "uncompleted" then the game will return you into those uncompleted missions.

before i release the patch, you can overcome this bug by 2 ways:
--- first (easier) way - enable console under game options. hit "~" on your keyboard (it's under "escape") to open the console and type "map duhoc_assault". then hit "enter". this will load the first american mission from which you can continue.
--- second (more complicated and cheaty way) - again enable console under game options. go to the mission select menu. open console and type "developer 1" and press enter. now two buttons have been unlocked - "unlock" and "reset". click "unlock" button and all missions will appear. then open console again and type "developer 0" and press enter. now all missions are available.
Yep that works :D :D oh and I tried changing loadouts in the settings to try different weapons and I came across the De Lisle British silenced rifle, when fired and halfway through the bolting and **** back animation the gun fires again and shows smoke from the muzzle however the shot isn't recognised as spent on ammunition counter. I'm pretty sure I've tried every other weapon and there are all fine although I'm no expert lol
Just unlocked all the missions but every one is coming up with a different runtime script errors

Thanks, MCh for having this game developed to finest end. However, while playing American campaign I noticed a bug at the missing "The Silo" where the sgt. orders to climb up the silo and after having recieved this command two soldiers ought to run towards silo tower and start climbing up so that hatch could be opened but instead these two soldiers run towards barn and and take position on MG, and it is impossible to open the hatch by yourself. I restarted the mission again just to maneuver this bug but got caught again at the same situation. Any suggestions?
