Update For RC2: Sekrit Dokumints via undisclosed handler has told me how to format the sound banks properly, and although it seems like a fix to me, some further tweaks will probably need to happen. I obviously cant claim to have fixed it without other's having tried it. I would recommend having alot of system memory from now on.
Mainly need feedback on:
If the audio dropping still happens?
If it does still, whats sounds they are?
If you if you feel there are less sounds playing overall?, less sound activity?
Fair amount of goings on has happened in terms of overall Volume since last patch which play big against the in-game 3D mixing so I need to know what sounds I may have missed and are much louder than they should be. Bear in mind that I have only dropped the overall Volume by -3dB so it may not be enough for some people but... well.... we will see.
While this is technically a full version I tag'd it as demo to deter people from downloading it as its more of a test build.
Tested KT, Panther, Wirbelwind and M6A1 - no cuttoffs :3

Jokes aside I have a question can you please please change the sound of the 10,5cm Tiger gun?
I would be really thankful for that, because the sound that we have yet is a bit too weak.
Soundmod working so far without any errors, for me atleast.
It still lacks the sound of the track. It also lacks the different sound in the driver's interior camera. For the time being the mod EPIC is much more realistic.
What track sound?, some guns have different interior sounds,hmm this a realistic mod?. If your just going to post opinions then dont worry yourself

Oh found an error in zoom in camera like in SB tanks on the turret.
At some angle you cant hear anything.

i've played about 10-20 matches and the sound isn't dropped after
but sometimes the sound of the weapons are disappeared and after a few 10 seconds is back again to normal
Might be due to the number of same sounds that can be played at once, if theres too many then it will cutt off some
I'm finding the engine sounds (I tested some Rank 3 US) 4.5 or so dB too loud in my test environment, 5.1 setup in a production studio.
What are you doing in a prod studio? And why does it have 5.1?

I didn't find any problem but there is 1 problem which happening sometimes. When I go to Sniper mode mg sounds and arty sound (weapons which make rapid sound) are not working properly, kinda stuttering, sometime working ok but if too many Mgs firing or arty dropping the sound is stuttering in sniper mode. otherwise every thing is fine
PT-76B external engine sound is either too quiet, or non-existent.

Been using this for a while now, sound still drops after a few hours. Honestly though, it happens with and without your sound mod. Probable engine limitation. Radio Calls, engine sounds, and artillery sounds all drop at the same time.

Played for a few 3-4 hour sessions now and haven't gotten any sound dropping like before. Usually it would drop my engine sounds when I switched nations or to a different preset in the same nation. Not sure if there's any correlation there, but that's when it normally happened to me. With this update, on occasion the MG and cannon sounds won't play while in sniper view, and one time I noticed that an enemy M18 was making no engine noise at all. The only thing I could hear from him was the tracks squeaking and he was pretty close to me as well, about 50m or so.
Also not sure how I feel about the new D-10 sniper view sound, I liked the old one more, but that's not a big deal.
See if Gaijin fix this next patch

I thought the new D10 sniper view sound was a bug and didn't sound properly, I feel the same as you, I think I liked the old one more. I miss old panther sound too :(

My jagdpanther sounds different,it doesnt sound like other panthers,and when im in driver camera,i cant hear anything.Please help
I did some more testing and I realized that in test drive it works as its supposed to work,but when I enter custom battle or real battle (ab,rb,sb),enine sound dissapears.Some other tanks have the same problems too,it's not only jagdpanther.

sounds seem to repeat and overide each other with the engine sounds on some maps. Other times things are working great
B0ris_the_blade I did some testing but the engine sounds and gun sounds are working fine in the test drive but when i get into battle the sounds are low both for the engines and gun firing also when i enter into sniper view the sounds cannot be heard at all and when you move while in sniper view you only hear the sound of tracks .

Something has changed over the last two days. I have been using the test version (26Feb) and it seems a recent update may have screwed the sounds in some maps. Anyone had similar issues over the last few days?

Worked for one game and fixed the problem of no firing sound for the KT 105mm, but next game it didn't work. Obviously not your problem, just reporting what happened for me.
Definitely Gaijin messed up, most of the time the tank you drive sounds like the exterior sounds from other player tanks instead of its own sound.
