Description
The full download for Blood and Iron Age of Imperialism (v3.0). This download comes with an installer, please check to make sure that the installer points to the right location; the folder name should be "Blood and Iron Age of Imperialism" If you are having trouble running the module, run Large Address Aware on Warband.exe (this allows Warband to use more than 2gb of memory), and set "load textures on demand" to "true". If you experience a black screen when joining a game, increase your graphics quality or use the "postfx - normal.fx" file in place of the default one.

there is a separate singleplayer mod with (almost) the same name and that takes place in calradia that's under developpement right now (should come out soon though)

Unfortunately, the mod has died and been removed from Moddb . My post up above is already 1 year old . Sorry if I just crushed your hope . But there's another mod into developpement (no beta though) in the same era, let's hope it doesn't die out like so many others do .

my game always gets stuck on "loading textures" when you start up the game

set "load textures on demand" to true, try making warband large address aware (google this :P ), if you think it might be a faulty download redownload the mod and reinstall it
I already had "load textures on demand" and I have a 32 bit XP so I read LAA has a little effect on these... I also replaced the postFX file with postfx - normal.fx. I also tried DX7.
it sounds like you might be out of luck for now :/ i was considering releasing a "light" version of the mod for people with lower end PCs
which part of the PC would cause this problem?

Check this thread, I had a test run of 2 and a half hours loading before I got to the bottom of it.

how do i do the "Set load textures on demand" thingie? (where do i go to do this?)
when starting warband, you will see a launcher in which you can click the configure option and in one of the tabs there will be a tick box for loading text on demand

Having trouble here - when I go into a server/custom battle game all I see is a black screen. I still hear ambient noise and people moving about and chat but there's just a blackscreen. Any ways to fix this?
Nevermind, fixed it by turning on HDR it looks like.

How to turn the music on install off?
Needs patching that Textures as well.
What's strange, it used to work fine. I saw the comments about it, and was happy it didn't happen to me.
it seems I was wrong.
One last thing. When I try to join a server with Commander Battle type, it crashes with an error.
Happens randomly in custom battles as well.
Just need the Textures replaced/overwritten. 793 MB. Here's a hotfix for now, in the meantime to combat this issue.

Hotfix is a specific term for a patch that is rolled out quickly to fix an issue (in this case unofficial but with official support) Hence the name.
