A post is coming soon but we won't be having a solo patch. We optimized and rearranged quite a lot of files so rather than having people deleting random files/folders we ask that you do a clean install.

can't you make it auto update seriously, manual patching is a thing of the past.
Manual patching is not a thing of the past. Unless the mod gets on Steam officially you'll have to use Desura for your lazy updating.

Out of two servers one says my map is different and the other says my Steam Ticket ID or something is invalid.
Any help?
removed old beta 1 & patch,downloaded 1.02, clean install, started to play, Create Server, in the game for a few seconds, then a little rectangular grey box saying "disconnected" shows up and it goes back to main menu of the game.
Did you restart Steam?
Steam isn't required for playing it (I didn't restart steam)

We simply forgot to rename the gameinfo.txt when we were uploading the build up onto our various mirrors at 3 in the morning

For some reason it starts up as Half Life 2. Anyone know why?
I have a few problems playing...
*On the map Broadway, on the closet thing right after the cinema hall, if you enter the closet and close the door, you're stuck forever. Also, people joining after 5 mins when a guy is just about to die, to extend the game is pretty annoying.
*Lots of lag, performance and internet on every server.
*I dont always hit a zombie when i actually do.
*Power attack with meele should really make them stumble!
I'm trying to connect me into a server that have 1.02 patch but wont work!
that says the maps are differents
but I have downloaded the 1.02b hot fix!

I Have v1.00 right now, is there a way to update to 1.03 without downloading the full client ?
