Ist das Spiel wirklich so schlecht wie alle sagen? Ich will mir auch keine test reinziehen, meistens lese ich nur das Fazit und die sind nicht so gut aus.

Why did you add shaders and all such things? Just made a diff, only 5 .ini files changed. This might result in fatal crashes in future updates. I would suggest only uploading changed files. Im unsure if you realy need all those things, as you edited network speed and mobile device properties too O.o
However.. can you explain every change, what it does, what it changes and such?

Hoho sorry. What did you say UPDATES? Gearbox for this game but is already dead. And if there were patches in certain hire my options to improve or change will be overwritten to 90% my file. And it can cause problems you should delete this config and reload again with Steam.
MotionBlur = / should one better lighting effect create a graph lie and not as good as HDR.
AllowNvidiaStereo3d / = Unfortunately there was no option in the game unlocked and have my 3d is from another company, I still hope the users of Nvidia 3d no problems.

Hi guys i am using this on a torrent ( Thank god i didnt buy the thing) How do we install this as its not only me who has used it and not seen a difference. I simply pasted it into the relecant folders and replaced duplicates. However like guest above i did not see a difference

It's easy to disable the max FPS limit of 62 for any interested... I'm also working on a custom config .ini all-together with some tweaks after I figure out if there is much of a difference. DX10 mode still not working for me.
However, for removing the FPS cap, open PecanEngine.ini in notepad located at C:\Users\{USERNAME}\Documents\my games\Aliens Colonial Marines\PecanGame\Config
Press F3 to find "bSmoothFrameRate" (without quotes) and change the value from True to False
Alternatively, you can alter the values of the smooth-framerate function directly below if you prefer to leave the feature on. I turned the feature off and frame-rate is rather high since this game is not demanding to run in the slightest.
Guys can someone please post step by step instructions how to install this into game so it works.
I copy and pasted the two folders into the existing same folders in the game directory and when it asked do you want to replace i said yes to all.
However i cannot see a difference. Please can someone help

I see your many comments that I also like to read through.
You have to understand I am a hobby I'm not a modder, programmer or whatever.
I was somewhat concerned with the UT3 engine and with the INI tinkered around in the games folder. And trying to improve the game experience a lot because not every user trusts or knows what he can achieve with such a file.
It tuht'm sorry if it fails in some cases not at 100% of the desired success.
Also one has to start somewhere but better durchschnitzspiel to the modding of this as if no one does anything. The data can even be improved again.

Threw in your config files (Which there seemed to be way too many of like the localization folder?...) and after I changed the settings from the options menu back to what the game considers full for the GFX settings and my correct screen resolution I loaded up "No Hope In Hadley's" twice, once with and once without your files, and the only difference I noticed was that the textures loaded a lot slower with your files. Other than that nothing else was any different from textures to map load to the lighting or shading.
TL;DR Game still looks crap but textures load slower.

Yes V2 is in the Downloads section simply because wonderful cards then you find it =)
Animations Mod is difficult because there is no tool for Offizel aliens and you can not access data on the game until the gearbox is free or hand itself creates.
