This is the build of gzdoom that I have tested it for. It was newly released on the DRD team website on the 30th.
There were some major compatibility that needed to be changed to keep up with the newer versions of gzdoom. The incompatibility was creating a was creating new bugs on the newer versions of the source-port.

Hmm... looks like that removed all the January builds.
You should make a standalone download using the correct Gzdoom version.
Too much hazzle with Zdoom /Gzdoom wads these days
Does anybody else have their framerate heavily dropped on newer versions of gzdoom released after 28 January? It often lags when there is effects on screen like smoke or blood on the newer versions.
I am planning on making a thread on zdoom about the compatibility conflicts that have risen as the newer versions of gzdoom had come out. Maybe, by comparing the code in 8.0 and the code in 9.0; it could help them to conclude why some of these issues are happening.
Could you please let Pa1nki113r (The guy that made the mod Project Brutality) know about you making a thread about the GZdoom/Zdoom issues because he has posted about wanting people to let him know about the issues as well since people have stated issues with the dev builds. Thank you, you have made a really great mod and happy fragging ^_^.
The performance problem has been fixed in the lastest builds (February 02) so it's recommended to update.
Yep, the Feb 2nd build of Gzdoom, fixes the lag issue. I was testing it out on "Not Bad for a Human", and it was running flawlessly. Even with hundreds of enemies fighting on screen.
Not sure if you read youtube comments, but will you make Zandronum version also? We like to play Doom WADs in survival coop and due to our tests Zandronum net code is much better than GZDoom.
Perhaps in the future. But as of now, I'm focusing my attention on finishing the new sprites, and developing the custom map.
Wow! This is brilliant! All these familiar maps that I thought I once knew like the back of my hand have become completely foreign and alien. Scary even, having to always watch my back and keep my gun loaded for whatever is around the corner.
This is an incredibly effective mod! So far I'm loving what it has to offer! Looking forward to see how far this goes! :D
Is it gonna work with brutal doom?
It already has ingame gore and dismemberment. Brutal doom would not have quite much more too offer. Might soil the atmosphere created.
How exactly does one use the grenades? They don't function the way the flares do.
They are a secondary weapon for the standard pulse rifle. You will need to configure your gzdoom source-port controls to use them. I typically set them for the right button of the mouse.

Sometimes the aliens are too powerful. I think I'm talking about the alien queen. And I didn't figure out how to use Motion tracker. When I press Q and M it says "unknown script 797" and "unknown script 999". I'm using "g1.8.09-78-g1db064b" version of GZDoom.
Also I didn't find any flares pickups during the game.
