every time i load the game and i start a match it loads halfway and then it doesn't respond and i have to go to windows task manger to stop it

I need to know more informations:
- Did you download and install the patch?
- How do you load the game (which nations, starting age, etc)?
I know the game freeze if one of the nations is Poland (mongols tribe) and I corrected it in the patch.
If you installed the patch and you got the same trouble still try to start the game as as an administrator.

do u install in a mods folder in your RON directory?

when you use the installer you'll need to select the main directory where RON is installed, otherway it will install the mod in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Rise of Nations" as default. The installer will place all files in the right subdirectory (eg. the main mod files will be installed in "..\Rise of Nations\Mods\1939-1945 Second Great War 1.0" folder). You don't have to select the mod folder otherway it will be installed in a wrong way.

When you unzip the file you can see where all files should be placed.
The mod version in the file is updated and you don't need to download the patch.

run the installer, when the wizard show the text "Choose an installation folder and click Next to continue." select the folder where RON is installed.
The default directory is "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Rise of Nations".

how do i know if this installed correctly? theres no pointers in the main menu that the mod is installed wtf!!

there is a README file that explains you how to use a mod.
Anyway here is the text:
***How to Load and Play the Mod:***
^ Start RoN: TP and select a Quick Game
^ When you see the Game Rules, select "Custom".
^ Look at the custom options and find the tab that says, "Game Mods".
^ Load the "1939-1945 Second Great War 1.0" mod by just clicking on it.
^ Select the other rules you want and start your match.

first check the current_version.xml file in "..\Rise of Nations\Thrones and Patriots\data\" folder.
Both of you should have the same version.
Same for the mod vesion, try to zip the whole data directory (..\Rise of Nations\Mods\1939-1945 Second Great War 1.0\data", and send it to your friends.

I did that but i still get a Out of Sync Error in All eventhough we had fresh installations and the same data n current_version.xml :( and also the same mod from mediafire :(

Cool mod bro, very cool idea and realisation. But :
1) u probably decrease tank damage a bit and made them each uniqe as historical
2) German/Italian AI do not build tanks/arty . Something is wrong with Axis auto factory.
