Great concept! Lots of neat improvements. Just a couple of problems. In the WW2 CTW skirmish battles do not work. They end with both sides defeated as soon as you start. Also territories rebel even at territory strength 5 while still at 1939 level. Would it be possible to play the WW2 map with regular CTW rules?

A new patch (1.67d) for the WW2 campaign is available.
Improved governments and battles set up to avoid to loose battles without a fight or crash.

The WW2 map is not playable with regular CTW rules, to do it you should modify the "World_War_2_Map_01.xml" file and copy the battle scripts in their original folders (I'm not sure they will work in the "scripts" directory),
In the "addons" section are uploaded the BETA TEST versions of the 1.67 release:

The CTW version allows you to play CTW campaign with the mod and the use of the editor to create scenarios suitable for the mod.
