The fall of Westwood was the single best thing to happen to computer games. Westwood damn near killed the RTS genre, and it's a good thing EA saved it.
you should die because you said those ! your retarded or your from EA ?

Neither; I'm a guy who likes EA. You all have been slamming it constantly, so I thought I should set it straight.
Not so fun when it comes back to you, is it?
Command and Conquer 4 would like a word with you.
i somewhat agree with you about them releasing the same game but EA ruined the story for Tiberium and Red Alert i mean just look at the story for RA3 the beginning of the plot makes no sense where did the soviets get a time machine from thats allied technology i dont really give a **** what they do with generals if they do anything else with generals that is
Nope, Ea isn't that stupid.
Where did the Soviets get the Time Machine?
Well it will only make sense if you have played the iphone version of Red Alert. The iphone one is more like red Alert 2.5, some units are from ra2 and some are from ra3.
In the campaign, the soviets secretly invades the allies and steals the Time Machine technology that the Allies were working on and thats how they get the Time Machine.
Westwood CREATED RTS.

And did nothing with it all the way to RA2, as the rest of the genre moved on. While companies like Relic and Blizzard kept doing new things, Westwood relied on a new lick of paint each time to sell games. It wasn't until EA got their hands on it that CNC really took off.
westwood is like kane they will never die even if u ion beam or bomb them.
The past.. The present.. and the future.. Westwood will still owns!
