Well first of all we are need of character models, like normal space marine one, heres the best examples you can find on net: Farm4.static.flickr.com Features.cgsociety.org Studiooxmox.com F.imagehost.org You can find, catpain ramus's pic in the Images section of this group, but the armor isnt finished yet,Ox has to add more details,so if you can, please work on these models. P.S. Dont make the guy's head like on the second pic,i just posted it for armor example -- "My faith is my shield" |

Ok, nice. Thank you luka. I´ve downloaded dawn of war (the first one) for pc and all the expansion-packs. If I remember well, there is a posibilty to configure colors for some units with a 360º view of them, so I will try to get more pics from there and I will start modeling tomorrow. I have an exam in 2 weeks that requires an animation in 3D with some models self-made and some animation, so i will use this to kill 2 birds in one shot. If you can find more images like that, and some more of the miniatures of gameworkshop (no matter if they´re not painted) in more or less the sime size of the image to work with, i will be gratefull. If we are doing a w40k game, and there are many, we need to change a little of the model, maybe create some new renown unit or something like that, but I need some ideas to make them look pretty own and without getting outside the w40k world. Thank you very much guys. |

Yes,but please dont make something like in DOW,guys are totally awfully looking with huge heads, because its an RTS you know, and theres no need of detailed units there. If you want something like 3D view, then get DOW 2,those pics i shown you are from there, and in army painter, like in first DOW,you'll be able to change colour and get 3D view as you mentioned. Also about the animations,in DOW,SM are running pretty much like retards, dont get animation examples from there,DOW 2 should be lot better. Well you are right about different models, but simple marines should look normal and not changed, but we got other lots of different and their own personallity characters in cpt. ramus's team,so we should talk about that later. -- "My faith is my shield" |

Ok, no problem. I was only trying to get more angles of the model, and to see all the details. I know that in DOW the models are bad, but I need just a reference. And for the animation, I will record myself with heavy load and see how I walk xD. |

Jajajaja. I hope so but I don´t sorry. I´m just patient and I have a good eye so I record a video and then I put it on background and try to make it the same |

Ok,and about that heavy load you mentioned.. dont forget that SM's dont feel their weight, because its something like, their huge armor is connected to their body so they dont feel weight. Edited by: lukaluka94 |
