Rijn the Specpyre in... Manor of the Damned!
Role PlayingManor of the Damned is a retro inspired action RPG that invokes the memories from the great console games of times past. The game has a deep storyline...
In the beginning there was darkness, and so was created light. And then was created The Hideout, for denizens of the dark to keep out of the light. Its members were forged from the ashes of an ancient super volcano. Their purpose: to slave away at the arcane art of game creation. Often taking the hard road, its members elect to construct much on their own. When they are not slaying demons and keeping the world from complete annihilation, they construct the base systems from which their games arise. They often wind down from a morning of slaying zombies with balancing, tweaking, and refining their works to be worthy of public consumption. Level design comes after diverting life-destroying asteroids from collision courses. It's all in a good days work. The Hideout developers just want to do their best to put out that good game, to make the end of your day no ordinary experience...

I just want to inform you, that the Linux 64bit demo doesn't run before doing a "sudo chmod +x rijn". Might be an issue for less advanced users.
I've hadn't enough time to play so far, but I love the pixel art and the overall polished experience -> I will buy it eventually.
Keep up the good work :)
Sweet... How are thing going with the project?
I'm making some good progress on it tonight. I just finished the last boss fight and I'm walking through the final area now to make sure all the secrets and door unlocks are scripted correctly.
