The Star Wars: BattleCry Team is currently using CryEngine 3 to create the spiritual successor to Star Wars Battlefront 2. The mod will be free to play (no money involved at all) and we will ensure that no copyright laws are broken. Gameplay will be solid, matches will be balanced and the graphics will be state-of-the-art while retaining that incredibly important Star Wars feel. Fasten your seatbelts 'cause this mod is going to be good! May the force be with you... Always.

you could add to the game (in multiplayer) squads of 4 soldiers, and a huge host of weapons and a HUD for the stormtrooper

i already read the FAQ and you should start a kickstarter

P.D:i would like to know when are you going to determinate the game“s release

Squads of 4 soldiers - something we may implement (if you mean getting people to walk alongside you in battles)

Huge host of weapons - working on it

HUD for stormtrooper - yes, of course

Kickstarter - not allowed to due to copyright issues

Alpha release - hopefully late 2013, but no promises

Considering HUD, I would love to see slight differences between faction and uniforms etc, like Stormtroopers/Clones having a visor with full outline (maybe like Republic Commando), rebels having blue holographic styled, borderless HUD (or goggles for Hoth), and some red Terminator view for droids...

We were actually discussing this earlier during HUD development. We want to implement as much as we can but like Rocknroll said, these things take time.

It was just a suggestion, but thinking about it, I was even thinking of trying some my own basic designs and/or concepts when I have time. I'll let you guys know if I get anywhere, since I really want to support the development, no matter how good or bad I am at making these things :3

Sounds good, but this level of customisation takes a lot of time.
