3d/2d artist lunar blast interactive anywhere artists hey, i'm currently working on an (currently) untitled hobby project, meant to be a throwback at 80s and 90s vertical shooters, with a modern twist. the game is being developed in unity in c#, and can be considered to be in alpha. i have a playable demo, all the code foundation has been finished, and i'm using placeholder 3d models for everything (i'm also a 3d modeller and animator, but i want to focus on the code for this project). i'm now in the process of actually building the game off of the foundation i already have, and i just need an artist who's willing to help out. like i said, this is a hobby project, so i don't expect somebody to commit 100% of their time to the project. i'm not going to pay beforehand since (again), it's a hobby project, but i'm planning on putting it on desura and greenlight and i'm willing to share the profits 50/50 (i'm probably going to sell the game for $5 or so). required skills for 3d artists: modelling and uv unwrapping assets creation of textures and maps (normal, specular, occlusion) knowledge of particle textures/decals/textures with alpha channels animation is a plus, but not required since i'm currently using code to animate and it's working fine required skills for 2d artists: creation of sprites/assets with alpha channels able to draw a wide range of things, from buildings, terrain, props, and vehicles in a wide range of styles sprite sheets are a plus, but not required able to draw characters and/or gui assets is a plus, but not required
artist for trailer lunar blast interactive anywhere artists total decay is nearing completion, and we're ready to put it on desura for alphafunding. however, in order to do so, we need a trailer. after talking with some of the people who helped on the project, we've come to the conclusion that the best way to make a low budget trailer would be to make a narrated trailer with digital art slides. we already have it planned out, but our concept artist needed to leave to pursue his own project, and thus we need a new one. the art needs to be fairly high quality, but only four pieces is needed. we can discuss payment via skype or e-mail, once we've seen your examples. however, please note that it is unlikely that you will be paid beforehand if the price is too high, as we've used every dollar in our budget.

concept artists, 3d modellers, animators wanted for 1st person sci-fi rpg lunar blast interactive anywhere artists lunar blast interactive is currently looking for concept artists, 3d modellers, and animators to help us with our first game, dark spiral, a first person sci-fi rpg. the game is only a few weeks away from entering alpha, and it's become apparent that we need extra modellers, animators and artists to help push it the extra way, and help finish it. if you join the team, your primary focus will very likely be helping to finish the cg trailer the artists are currently working on. after that is finished, your focus will shift to the game itself. if you can do more than one of these jobs, your chances of being hired are (obviously) improved. 3d modeller responsibilities: create, modify, rig, retop, and texture soft and hard surface models and sculptures such as characters, fauna and flora, weapons, objects, vehicles, buildings, etcetera. concept artist responsibilities: create concept art, matte paintings, textures, and user interfaces (if you don't know how to create ui's or textures, we'll guide you through the process, don't worry). animator responsibilities: create and modify both unique and looped animations that feel natural and realistic for characters, vehicles, objects, etcetera. what to send: send at least 5 portfolio pieces that demonstrate your skill. the more pieces you send the better your chances. a cv or resume is not required, but if you would like to send one, we'll take a look at that as well. please note, however, that we look at skill, not experience. this position is currently not a paid position, but we're looking into funding options right now. the most prominent option is kickstarter, which is why the cg trailer is so important.
female voice actors wanted lunar blast interactive anywhere audio/music we recently put out an ad for voice actors for our first indie project, dark spiral. although the ad was a success, and we got more than three dozen applicants, there was a severe lack of female applicants, and we decided to post another ad asking specifically for female voice actors. if you are a female voice actor, or if you know anybody that would be interested, please don't hesitate to contact us. we aren't looking for any type of voice in specific, as only two roles have been filled up to now, so there are a lot of available spots for voice actors of any vocal range and accent. no prior experience needed, no education needed. what you do need is a high quality microphone (condenser/studio mic with a pop filter, or anything that can produce clear, echo-less audio with no static or background noise), a talent for voice acting (you don't need to be able to do a million vocal ranges or accents, but you need to be able to convey realistic and sincere emotion), and the ability to keep to a schedule and provide the lines we need by the dates we provide. right now, we can't afford to pay voice actors, however everyone will be paid once we are able. please note that if there is not a sample in the e-mail, it will be ignored, even if you're asking for more information regarding the sample. we don't have any guidelines for the application sample, as we need a feel for your vocal range regardless. we will provide you with characters to audition once you have been accepted.
