“Survivor Zero” is a sandbox style survival horror set in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. Instead of focusing on combating waves of zombies in high-octane shootouts, the game will allow players the chance to use not only strength but creativity and logic in order to survive in a post-apocalyptic world.

Looking for dedicated texture artists for established FPS survival horror

Survivor Zero is a game that got a bit of attention on reddit back when it was first announced as being "the survival game everyone wanted" - a zombie survival sandbox with emphasis on cunning over killing; you have to think about what you do in order to survive a zombie apocalypse. The style of the game is realistic, and set in present-day (post-apocalypse) america. To get a better idea of what we're working on, check out our recent trailer: Youtu.be , website: Survivorzero.com . We've been working hard for over a year now and have a lot of 3D assets waiting to be unwrapped and textured, so we need motivated texture artists who will stick around and help us out.

A bit of background on the team: getting on for 15 members, with a fair amount of us actively working on the games completion. We have a good spread of output over every department, but only one texture artist, so he can't handle the load of our 3D artists. We're a pretty well-oiled machine, so help us become the developers that Survivor Zero deserves! We're all in regular contact through a skype IM chat, which is the preferred method of communication if you were to join since it makes it easier to talk about ideas with everyone.

So we're looking for texture artists who:
- Are self-motivated
- Know how to unwrap and texture
- Can do decent work in a reasonable time-frame
- Can take constructive criticism
- Get along well with our group

You'll be working with all sorts of stuff - indoor and outdoor props, first-person items, many varying environments, characters/zombies (as well as baking high-poly normal maps), animals and anything else. If you can do any or all of the above, then send us a link to your portfolio to the provided email and we'll get back to you ASAP!

Although we are a company, this is a volunteer project. If this project makes any money then it will be fairly distributed, but there is no guarantee of that happening and we'd prefer members who are dedicated to make a game rather than hoping for an eventual pay-out.
