===INDIEDB PLEASE REMOVE===
I’d like to detail what we plan for the DLC. This is subject to change based on community involvement in the discussion.
So of course Stage 1 is the release of the game, for Video Game this is 25
and for the physical board game is 100. Both the Video game and Board
game will release on the same day, and all DLC/Expansions will release
on the same day. This lets the two live with each other instead of being
one based off the other.
Also we plan to have plenty of free content as we make it. Mostly these will
be in the form of RnD updates and engine updates to facilitate your
live modding of the game.
- DLC Release Plan:
(Subject to change. Numbers are high-balled but will potentially go down based on community involvement. Or will become Free)
Every 3 months we want to release new paid content. However we don’t want to charge much for it.
Every 6 months, instead of releasing a content pack, will be a genre release, which will be content, plus the new dimension.
So far here is our plan: (note all prices are for video game)
- Release Day - 25 dollar base, 50 dollar collectors - (Fantasy Dimension)
- 3 month - 5 dollar + depending on content - Few new bosses, Base spell
primers and technologies we are able to do now at this stage of the
game, basic items that our analytics say have not been developed in
across Fantasy Dimension but the game is capable of, to help speed up
RnD - 6 month - 10 dollar - Dimension 2 release
- 9 month - 5 dollar + depending on content - Few new bosses, Base magic
primers and technologies that analytics say have not been developed in
Dimension 2 - 12 month - 10 dollar - Dimension 3 release
- 15 month - 5 dollar + depending on content - Few new bosses, Base magic
primers and technologies that analytics say have not been developed in
Dimension 3 - 18 month - 10 dollar - Dimension 4 release
- 21 month - 5 dollar + depending on content - Few new bosses, Base magic
primers and technologies that analytics say have not been developed in
Dimension 4 - 24 month - 10 dollar - Dimension 5 release
- 27 month - 5 dollar + depending on content - Few new bosses, Base magic
primers and technologies that analytics say have not been developed in
Dimension 5 - 30 month - 10 dollar - Dimension 6 release
- 33 month - 5 dollar + depending on content - Few new bosses, Base magic
primers and technologies that analytics say have not been developed in
Dimension 6 - 36 month - 10 dollar - Dimension 7 release with the boss “The Dimension Clasher”
- 39 month - 5 dollar + depending on content - Few new bosses, Base magic
primers and technologies that analytics say have not been developed in
Dimension 7
We've been asked before “What about my server” and here is where we are going
to answer that. You have multiple options to use the new Dimensional
content. This is done by the server admin issuing a vote to change
genre. The players can vote it up or down, as well as vote on how the
update will happen. And in some cases, vote on even more exacting
details.
1) You can restart
- Some people like to refresh the world from time to time, and you have
the option of doing this. When the server admin hits that button,
everyone votes on what is kept, what is reset. For instance, you can
decide everyone keeps one building which is updated to the new look of
the dimension. Allowing you to keep your belongings. You could just
fully wipe. Or you can decide to move the characters into the new world.
Basically this means your character got transposed into a new
dimension, and you can simply start over there. As we said before, were
trying to make this game whoever you want to play it.
2) Dimension Convergence
- Yet again your players have options. This mode lets you keep the same
map, cities, resources. But update the looks and technology level. What
you keep is voted on by players but you don’t loose any buildings or
work you've done on the world.
3) Dimensional Clash
- This one has the same player voting on what is kept, but is very
unique of an aspect. Another dimension partially materializes into
yours, adding new towns, sometimes splitting a town down the middle with
different genre’s on either side of the divide. The two dimensions just
became one, which could have good, or bad consequences. Its up to you
to find out.
