Founded in 1982 by Trip Hawkins, EA was a pioneer in the early games industry and was notable for promoting the designers and programmers responsible for their games. For the first few years, EA was just a publisher and didn't expand to development until the late 80s and started supporting consoles in the 90s. They also began to acquire successful developers and in the early 2000s became the worlds largest third party publisher. They recorded a net revenue of US$3.129 for FY2005.

EA suck since day one
What is EA doing on this site? They're not an independent developer. They're not even close. Why is EA trying so damn hard to sell itself as an indie developer? Do they even know what the word independent means?
Only tink what im waiting from EA is Sim City AHHHHHHHhhhhh
I only liked sum EA games kinda hard to remember them though in my opinion I like game companies like Valve for example
EA just tried to buy out Valve, They Failed, Digitaltrends.com
All Hail Gabe!
Words cannot describe how much I loathe this company. I hope they go bankrupt.
Why do you hate the company so much?Look at their progress, from making the best WWII to making the best modern warfare series, are you kidding me?If they didnt exist we wouldnt have the battlefield 3 "The Best FPS" yes their games might be buggy but they are doing their best to fix.
WESTWOOD STUDIOS > EA
Hey guys,
please bring out some native games for Linux or port old ones!
But do you know why the people don't like EA? Just do a better LTS like Blizzard does! Patching games that are already 10 years old (Diablo 2 back in the days) is really awesome. Shutting down online servers (like for LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth and many more) is really ********. You make the people escape like that! Be aware of it!
EDIT: And buying and destroying companies is also not the best idea (e.g. Maxis)!
Dont forget Westwood being destroyed by them...
