promotional video editor/creator bon ink creations anywhere web/other intro bon ink creations is in need of a talented and driven individual who is interested in producing promotional video trailers for our published and developed games. examples of our current in house made trailers can be found here, http://www.youtube.com/user/ldcstudios a bit about our teams each development team signed with us is currently working on a free release game. there for promotional release trailers made for these games are unpaid. as the development teams work towards their commercially released games, and begin to require trailers, payment will be negotiated and remuneration will be given up front for trailers produced for commercial games. this will be much further down the line primarily because all our developers are focused on free releases at present. as well as the editor in question will need time to know the level of work demand in order to price their services accordingly. what we need we are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company, but we welcome those who see this as a stepping stone to further their career. we hope to find someone who eats, sleep and lives for creating/editing videos. someone who could eventually oversee a small team of video editors as the company and our needs grow. requirements: - professionalism as you will be dealing with many different team leads - firm grasp of the english language, (grammar, sentence structure, etc) - legal software used to record/edit game videos (free software exists) - past experience 1-2 years (hobby or professional) - examples of prior work (any video editing work will suffice, at least 2 examples) - ability to find and source legal use materials for videos (fonts, music, etc) - ability to work under reasonable timelines (dates available many weeks in advance) skills: - able to work under a general theme, or guide for any given trailer. - able to take constructive criticism and sacrifice own creative designs for the needs/wants of the developers. - a keen eye for what looks good, and for what to highlight about the game without giving away too much. benefits: - excellent way to build a portfolio of your video work - free releases of all our commercial products (standard staff benefit) - an open ear to our development team towards your potential projects how to apply if you believe you are capable of creating equally appealing trailers, or better, then please send your applications to; contact@boninkcreations.com please remember to include examples of your work. conclusion if many applicants are received, the top picks will be given a short game in order to test their trailer making capabilities. the best trailer will earn the position for the editor in question. no trailers will be used without expressed consent from the creator. no application will be reviewed or replied to until feb 26th, in order to give everyone a fair chance. upon sending your application you should receive an automated response to confirm that your application was received by us. thank you for your time, we look forward to your responses. /jon bon -founder/owner bon ink creations
