A quick noob question about the Orange Box Developer Kit, it stated in the gameinfo.txt that it was made for SP, is there any quick way of making it into a multiplayer mod?

Hello My name is Ian St. John and I am 14 years old and I heard you need a modeler. I just wish to help on this mod and I know you guys must be disappointed at the fact that I am not some great modeler but I wish to help in any way I can. Now I am in 8th grade and next year I am going to an advance modeling academy for High school so within a few months I should be getting better. I am not on my main computer so I can not send you and pics of what I can do, but I think this is a great mod and I wish to help out in any way I can.

Hi there jangalomph! Hope you're well. You helped me over at the interlopers forums, get some stuff up and running for my mod. Biocore's looking great. Basically just wanted to ask for some advice.

When creating my mod, would you recommend i 'Start from Scratch' or 'Modify the SinglePlayer'? The stuff you're making, did you create the directories from scratch, or use the Source SDK Menu in Steam? I have already created 2 maps using stock HL2 textures and models, I chose 'Modify the Singleplayer', took out all the files in the mod directory I didn't need using this tutorial 'https://www.moddb.com/tutorials/complete-guide-for-customizing-a-single-player-mod' and created a custom menu plus some custom walkspeeds.

So I have the basic stuff, but I don't know if I'm progressing the right way. I don't need to import anymore custom stuff into my mod apart from my own textures and models, which I think I can do.

Also I could do with getting my custom weapons into the mod (that m16m203 on your vid looks awesome mate). I presume that requires code, but would you have any advice on that? It's a simple mod, a few maps, new menu, HUD and storyline.

Basically what I'm trying to say is, am I heading in the right direction? I hope I make sense.

Thanks for reading mate, tracking the mod, looks fab. High five from across the pond.
