For everybody who work on Aperture science Mod Now For Portal 2
If a mod were an album this would be something by the orb.

Sadly this map has yet to appear on Moddb, but that should not retract from the sheer beauty and depth it has. This map has many flaws, its most prominent being that it is far too short, the ambiance and dream-like game play are akin to floating, tranquil without a care. I a world where gaming has become about how fast your action can happen and strong your need to play, i promise you this is the pure antithesis to an adrenaline filled society. This map may make many feel off kilter from the first moment, mainly as it does not make us of a portal gun, yes, you heard me the ASHPD, does not make an appearance. Nor does Glados, in physicality nor voice, if fact I'm almost sure you are not in the Aperture Science Research Laboratories at all. You are in a room, just one room. Its striking new look, though reminiscent of the AS labs is one of warmth and almost comfort, there is room to move and slight nuances of visuals to discover, such as the crack in the ceiling and the the tiled floor offering hints of future puzzles. There seems something wrong with the gravity too, you can leap almost moon-like from place to place - while this does cause some slight adjustment to the regular feel of a jump it is, again, a noticeable and resounding difference. In the center of the room four blue portals appear, once again you get the feel of portal being behind this but the scene is so different, the ambiance so apart you find yourself surprised by familiarity. Through these portals is your room, yes, the same room only brighter, newer, cleaner and more stark, the look of AS Labs you had understood before. I could go on to explain the puzzles and story but the discovery is part of the joy, occasionally things seem difficult, as if you are without the adequate knowledge to follow the puzzles through. This is a minor flaw in the map / mod. Sometimes you simply do not know what you are doing, or how you should progress. One really should give full credit to Ian Boswell for providing something so unique to live in the world of portal, so many maps rehash the same old looks and elements that portal initially delivered, and while portal may have been too short, there is now an overwhelming catalogue of mods to fill that void. I feel the success of any new mod comes from its originally and for that this map should be commended as a forerunner. Give it a try, it is different, difficult and on brief occasions frustrating, but inevitably it is a map of feeling and instinct, where the real purpose and drive is a passenger to the enjoyment of the spaces and interactions.
