Description
Carcharias is an Imperial Hive World, though this bleak planet's extreme cold temperatures, vast glacier fields and frozen wastelands make it closer in approximation to an Ice World. Carcharias was once the Chapter homeworld of the Crimson Consuls Space Marine Chapter, who were destroyed through a series of intrigues and deceptions arranged by the Alpha Legion to procure the Crimson Consul's gene-seed for Abaddon the Despoiler's Black Legion, in order for the Forces of Chaos to prosecute the 13th Black Crusade with reinforced numbers of Chaos Space Marines. Carcharias is orbited by three moons known as De Vere, Thusa Major and Thusa Minor.

Although I love a good lane based map or large open area to utilise various approaches and tactics. Sometimes it's just fun to build an entire imperial guard regiment and march them straight down the line into the open arms of death...purely for cinematic reasons and not because I'm a borderline sociopath.
This map exacerbates everything that's wrong in DoW AI, from its army sitting doing utterly nothing in one corner of the map, or all AI teaming against you despite being a FFA
