How do you remove the annoying "Eriance says:" message from the screen in the Armory of Pain episode? It makes it impossible to play...

You have to play it without Brutal Doom, sadly.

I do it.
Open pk3 file (works with PB or BD, look at post Sibbs99 below), next tntres.wad, in Slade. Locate in tntres.wad file: ERIANCE (type: GRAPHIC(PNG)) and rename it (for example like this: "AERIANCE"). Save tntres.wad and pk3 file.
You never look message: "Eriance says". In zandronum J see small (very samll) icon "broken file" symbol instead of message. J can play with it.

Play with Brutal Doom brutalv20b. The message pops up every no and then on that episode, but it does disappear after a while. If you are still playing this 6 years later, obviously. xD

You Can Play With Brutal Doom Or Project Brutality

just extract the ultimate torment pk3 as zip, open tntres.wad, in Slade, delete the keyconf lump, save it, close slade, delete tntres.wad.bak file, highlight all the wads, right click (if you have winrar installed), go to add to archive, make sure it says zip, rename zip to pk3, your done, It should work alright with most gameplay mods. Just don't pick up the flamethrower or the pyro cannon.
this is what my gzdoom.ini looks like

[Global.Autoload]
Path=NoLagWeps_WepSwitchFaster.wad
Path=The Ultimate Torment & Torture (2007) WORKS WITH PB.pk3
Path=Project Brutality 2.03.pk3
Path=HXRTCHUD-PBBD_V3.0.PK3
Path=zdoom-dhtp-20150723.pk3
Path=Doom3monstersoundv11.pk3
Path=pk_doom_sfx_20120224.wad
Path=PB_Allow_SV_Cheats.pk3
Path=DoomHDv03.pk3
Path=jdtp-comp.pk3
Path=Playstation Doom SFX.wad

make sure to load pb or brutal doom after ultimate torment, i spent at least 2 hours trying to get these two to work together, it was time well spent, because they're awesome together!

Thanks for this comment! I've been looking how to play UTnT with custom gameplay wads for the longest time and deleting the keyconf was the solution. I just tried it with the HXRTC Project and it seems to work perfectly!

Hey, I tried your method for Brutal doom V21 but the glow of the enemy projectiles never goes away. I am using GZDOOM 4.3.3 . Were you able this?

I noticed the same, but I got it to work properly.

1) Try first clicking on the tutnt-v108 file and then only on the BD file, before dropping them onto GZDoom.
2) If that doesn't work, try with BD v20b.
3) Finally, if that doesn't work, use Zandronum, BD v20b and first click on tutnt-v108 when selecting the files to drop onto Zandronum (this is how I do it and the projectiles disappear).

Was excited to see this. With Brutal Doom 2.1rc1 and the latest Project Brutality 3.0 beta the glow from imp fireballs and explosions never go away. It makes the game unplayable. I tried changing load order. This is with zdoom 3.6 release. Without BD or PB it is playable (but less interesting IMO)

Try it out with the Supportive Edition and see what happens. Or use the worksround Sibbs99 made.

Still with the Supportive edition, the projectile flares glow never goes away when playing with Brutal Doom. Does anyone know how to fix this?
