This addon makes possible, like in Fallout 4,
the pairing of your smartphone to your CoC game for some
functionalities and a deeper immersion.
PLEASE READ THOROUGLY THE WHOLE INCLUDED README FILE,

Idea is really nice, but real usage and repeating process of pairing every time is not great...
But still "its something" :]
It would be easier for other people to have separate app that would use build in irc server access and take care of connection.
I think even simple app based on Android WebView would be sufficient, you can actually use html/java language to create site based menu system, and just pack it as application for mobile phone. I used that method to create simple app that display images from security cameras in my home(simple system of sending images to ftp server from where app download them and display with info from camera movement/sound sensors)
Also on side note, I spend some time with creating apps and games for android and I know that syncing data via eg BT or even wifi is not really complicated and with some real programming skills it would be possible to have that dynamic map or missions status.
But I also know that it would need HUGE(I mean really huge) amount of work and skills with scripts for stalker to actually get those data... But hey! at least we can dream about it :D
Hi, as this is based on an app with a totally different aim this is a bit complex, you're right.
Unfortunately I know only Lua, that's why, for making a step forward in the development, there's the need of someone else.
Who knows, maybe someday...

This is a really great idea! I love things like this.
It's also the reason I never use the gas mask overlays from Smurth's Dynamic Hud, because I'm just putting my real gas mask on every time I'm doing that ingame. I can only recommend this. The feeling of finally removing the gas mask once you're safe is just great.

You really should list this more as a CRC replacement that comes with the option to work with phones that way you'll get more users. Right now it looks much more like a phone-specific mod.
you should describe this better. most people think its just a phone thing/app. maybe you should describe it as CRC+smartphone stuff as extra, just to gain more users.
Is there a button to communicate ingame? Or a way to bind a key?
In STALK-IRC.exe there's an Options button at the bottom right, you can personalize there the button to press for chatting ingame (it should open up a console)
I think you should try adding a new option in PDA (the real one in-game) for chatting with other players if that's possible.
Actually you can, just switch to #STALK-IRC channel and type!
Is the #STALK-IRC channel always almost empty (like 2-3 people, one named PDA), or have I installed the addon wrong?

I need a bit of help!I did install and did everything correctly i think,and i am using Holo IRC but the news and the messeges from ingame are now only displayed in the Desktop application of the IRC and not ingame or on my phone,i could messege my self from the phone and i did get the messege that the PDA is paired with my phone.I would appriciate any help,thank you !

You can connect S.T.A.L.K.E.R. to your phone for some functionalities and you can chat with other players ingame
Hi I'd like to offer my help if you find the need for someone who has a lot of experience programming in C/C++. I don't know if I can be of much help if you're using Lua because I can't find a way to run executables through game lua scripts without minimizing the damn screen everytime, but if you want an executable that can read complex file formats, or perform networking I think I can help with that. My full time job is a data analyst and I work on images, videos, audio, and other miscellaneous formats. Please PM me if you think you're interested.
