Thanks so much for this. I played this game on Dreamcast back in the day and it quickly became an all-time favorite. You've done really nice work. The only issues I've had are the animated panels in the Asylum look a little jittery, and some mild tiling issues which probably have more to do with level design. I'm using this pack on the Steam version and everything else is running smooth.

Hey This is a really Good Mod and i really enjoyed it,Is there any chance your making a port for the remaster? and if not i was wondering how you did the textures so at the very least i could create it for the remaster Seriously though bro this is amazing!!! there are a lot of people on the steam group and facebook group who are trying to thump and be a puritian with the old textures but i like yours! and I would love to see them in the remaster

I wrote converter models and levels. Now draw a new texture and change the model. With the game engine has not yet been decided. UE / Unity.
nice SpaceDog ,hopefully you stick with it ,a lot have started a remake but none have ever been completed unfortunately if your looking for people to help you might have some luck at the official/unofficial shadow man fanclub run by the original sound artist/programer of shadow man I & II ,there where some screenshots of another guys work on there but i don't know how far he got with the project he was doing a remake aswell ,anyway check it out @ www.facebook.com/groups/15818496890/
I've tried different download mirror and unpacked it numerous times but the rar opener tells me it can't open the archive and may be damaged. no success installing this.
Hi Coreolanus it's possibly the WinRar client your using try a different version of WinRar or use 7zip if that doesn't work the only other thing I think it could be would be your antivirus so you could try turning that off other than that I don't have a clue :(
Thanks Arkup, I did try 7 zip too and same thing i will try without anti virus but is a tad complicated with my set up.
have you tried un-installing /re-installing winrar?
or if you have access to another computer you could download it and extract it on the other pc then transfer it over unpacked ,

I loved this game on the PS1 back at release, wanting to buy it now on Steam while it's on sale and this here mod looks perfect! Thanks for your hard work on making this classic game look even better! :)

How can i play this game what do I need to do
if you don't already have shadow man for P.C ,you can purchase it from GOG.com for about $5.00 and then apply the mod,the instuctions are in the texture pack ,you just have to swap 1 folder

Some of the games procedural(animated) textures aren't working with this texture pack. I really don't want a downgrade with an upgrade.
For example, the water textures when you first enter deadside(the marrow gates). They are no longer animated.

turn on vsync in you graphic card control panel,the game freaks out at over 60fps ,

absolutely a false positive,just use chrome or explorer/edge

On Windows 7 (x64) it does not start. Not at all. Compatibility exhibited. The most recent video card drivers. DirectX and everything else (. NET Framework, Microsoft Visual C ++, etc.) Also installed with the latest versions.
All the methods I tried did not help. You can solve this problem, but I do not run on Windows 7 64 ???
sorry for the late reply , which version of shadow man do you have, is it the original disk ,GOG or steam version ,if it's the original disk it never worked on pc ,what you have to do is install the demo of shadow man and then install the full disk over the top of the demo and it will then work ,also make sure vsync is on in the game and in your graphic card control panel, here's a link to the demo : Fileplanet.com

I wanted to know what you think of that other pack ShadowManBumpMapping.zip (2.36gb) by GaelRomanet .
I've never used it but was wondering if you have had a look at it and if there is anything to be gained by using any part of it in conjunction with your release or if it's something entirely different and not a proper re-texture.

Hi dibdob ,looks interesting ,it seems as though he has used the original textures,so it's not a proper re-texture,it looks as though he has upscaled and smoothed them but i can't be real sure ,idk mate give it a go and see what you prefer ,cheers for the info take care ;)

sorry to hear that my friend ,it may have something to do with it being the Italian version ,I only know of 1 other person to have problems with it and they had the Italian version as well

try going to the game directory (right click on shortcut then open file location) and open D3DConfigUtility then see if setting up the game configuration from there helps if not try to run in compatibility mode for windows XP also make sure vsync is enabled
prova ad andare alla directory del gioco (fai clic con il pulsante destro del mouse sul collegamento quindi apri il percorso del file) e apri D3DConfigUtility quindi vedi se l'impostazione della configurazione del gioco da lì aiuta se non prova a eseguire in modalità compatibilità per Windows XP assicurati anche che vsync sia abilitato
So, i have the Files, etract, but i cant nothing do with it, Iave have nothing out of this, what must men do, when men have just this Files?
you must replace the old data folder that is in the main folder with this one .
so right click on the desktop shortcut and open file location then remove the data folder and replace it with this data folder you just downloaded ,cheers
