U follow the Acclain Comics book whit the mask of shadow on the body but in the day i not Show in the comic books just a Scars from the mask of shadow... but forget this ur pack is awsome!!!

First of all i want to tell you that your texture work is stunning.
I write this because i have a problem you could solve.
The zombie dogs and the guards in the prison don't die.
That happens to all the dogs in the game (and the ones with the "bikini")
and all the human targets (prisoners, cops in prison etc).
you will need the 3 pieces of L'CLIPSER ,
La'lune,La'Soleil and La'Lame once you have all 3 pieces teleport to Nettie and she will do a ritual so you can be shadowman in live side and dead side then you will be able to kill the beasts , you will need a shadow level of 7 to get the last piece

In my case it is the spanish version and It works perfectly under the "Steam" version. The difference is very noticeable.

This pack crashes if installed on the GOG Italian version of Shadowman (setup_shadow_man_italian_2.0.0.4). After the Acclaim logo, when the Shadowman logo must appair, the games crashes. :-(
I have played and finished this game years ago (i have the original first version) and i have loved it. Best ever game.

what operating system do you have ?
because i have tried it on the GOG
version and it works fine
try updating your direct x and visual c/c+
also change it to windows xp compatibility mode
also launch it with the D3DConfigUtility found in C:\GOG Games\Shadow Man and change the resolution to the one that suits your monitor
it's quite possibly still in 1920x1080p mode
and if yours isn't the correct res. it could make it crash
Nothing. Shadowman ITA hangs. I have tried the GOG Eng version and works fine. Have you in mind when the logo Shadowman appear with an electric wave with noise? The games crashed just one moment before that screen. Ahhh... I have tested it at work and here i have two monitor conf. I will try it at home with only one monitor...
At work (with two monitors conf) i have tested only the GOG-Ita version and doesn't work. At home (one monitor conf) i have played the GOG-Eng version and works fine. I will try the GOG-Ita version at home these days.
the only other thing i can think of is make sure you have turned on vsync in game and in your graphics control panel (for your video card)
besides that I think you may have answered your own question , I doubt that the game is compatible with multi screen resolutions

For some reason, the dogs do not die. I have tried using L'eclipser but still the dogs come back to life??
also the guards/inmates don't die while using shadowgun?! is there some coding i can change to fix this or would i have to remove the texture pack and start from scratch as the game is next to ruined
it's probably a setting in the cheat menu check out the settings ,
you can replace the developer mode with the original files if all else fails,
make a back up then
replace the files in this directory which will remove the developer mode
for retail disk version use this directory :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Acclaim Entertainment\ShadowMan\ data\scripts\menus\english
for the gog version use this directory:
C:\GOG Games\Shadow Man \data\scripts\menus\english

i switched off all cheats (i only ever used invincibility in order to see if the guards would die instead of constantly get killed all the time) but nothing happened and also replaced the files but the problem is still there.
I even went into the guard .ais files, converted it to .txt and done the same with an enemy that does die (in this case Hookmen) just to compare if something is missing from the dog/guard scripts, but i don't see anything different in terms of lines missing from the dog/guard scripts compared to any other enemy. It's very odd.
Update - i uninstalled everything, kept the saves though, re-installed without the texture pack, reloaded last save and the guards can be killed!! Yay :-D For a moment i thought the error was the original files as i obtained the Shadowman ISO from a torrent site. I'm tempted to reload the texture pack and see what happens.
New update...last one, i promise :-P I installed the texture pack but not the update and things work fine. Not sure what caused the original problem but i guess the only solution to guards/dogs not dying is to back up saves, uninstall and reinstall :-)

Please Add Deamon2000 to the credits as i was the one who did most the work and uploaded it to Pirate Bay back in the day In form of a Partial Hd-Retexture i never finished it though do to the massive amounts of Redundant files with different names. I'm Glad some one finally finished it though did you ever finish the Fire loop i had a bug with the edge fire at the time also some of the effects looping were buggy looking so i scraped them and left them in folders for some one else to fix .

When I replace the data folder with your textures and launch the game it doesn't work.Does it being the steam version have to do with it?
as far as i know it works fine with the steam version ,
but to be honest that's the only version I don't have :P
what operating system do you use ?
did you just merge the folders or did you actually change out the folder manually ?
windows 7 home premium,and i did it manually and then when i started shadowman it would go back off so i brought the data folder back in
yeah i use win 7 home prem as well, try it with v/sync turned on in your graphics control panel , this has fixed it for the couple of people that have had a problem , if that dosent work , try running it in compatibility mode for XP
v/sync is already turned on and how am i supposed to run it in compatibility mode for xp if my computer is windows 7?(i don't mean it to sound angry or rude.)
nevermind i typed in compatibility and "run programs made for previous versions of windows" so i clicked on it and changed the compatibility to xp and then told me to test it to see if it works,and then i got on it and my computer froze so i had to log off
that's ok , you just right click on the short cut , go to properties and then compatibility , hmm i'm not sure what is going on there mate, it sounds like your pc could do with some maintenance though , maybe your anti-virus is messing with the .exe from shadow man , sorry mate i just don't know

i'm trying the re-texture pack with the italian cd version but it just crash to the desktop after the logo.
Any idea? I have windows 7 x64 but i'm pretty sure the problem it's the language :p
do make sure that you have V/SYNC turned on in your video card control panel as well as in-game
yeah I don't think I'm going to be able to play it with your textures.they look really nice though.
the only other thing i can think of off hand is maybe your anti-virus has messed it up , you could try turning off your anti-virus program until you have installed the texture pack and then make an exception (white list) the .exe from shadow man , sorry mate i wish i could be more help :(
there is one other thing that may get you up and running , go into the acclaim/shadow man directory and use the D3DConfigUtility to set up the screen resolution and other graphical settings , gl ;)
Also i can't kill the dogs when it works (without the pack) :)

Don't know if this is significant but I played it on the Dreamcast in German and, subsequently, in English and in the English version I could not kill the prisoners or the dogs, where I could in the German one. And they were similar enough that I could load the German game to get through those parts when stuck on the English version.
that was lucky ,i've only heard of 1 guy who had a problem with that on the PC version and i think it had something to do with activating the cheats or something ,not really sure ,always make sure vsync is on in your graphics card control panel or it do get weird
