L4D Sounds that when you fire a weapon it plays a laser sound and it sounds like you have a laser gun. (Sorry I don't have a video yet of this mod... I need to buy Fraps. Hope to get the video soon.)
***MAKE SURE YOU MAKE BACK UP FILE FOR WEAPONS***
To install go to Computer C > Program files > steam (valve-mac > steam) > Steamapps > common (NOT YOUR NAME) > left 4 dead > left 4 dead (again) > sound - and simply drag the folder into the sound folder and let it over right then test it out :) enjoy
..::Credit to me for cutting down sound and google for the sound::..
I was thinking of just deleting my pistol sounds since they are way too loud in comparison to everything else ;)
Maybe this sounds better though, I'll give it a shot!
Thanks for the downloads! Please tell your friends and tell them to tell and etc, because I want people to know about this mod site and all the nice sound mods that are here.
This does work rather well for the pistol and makes them sound silenced. I noticed that sometimes though it picks up background sounds and incorporates them into the pistol shot sound. So every time I shoot the pistol it sounds like an infected screaming or something. I don't mind since it can produce hilarious results but was something I noticed ;)
I went into all the other gun sounds and just re-recorded them with lower sound and that seems to work well for keeping the weapon fire softer. I have to play L4D in a room with other people so it can get annoying for them to hear me unloading clips all night.
Yeah same for me the pistol sound is too short or something and it plays a zombie voice very quickly, although you can switch it to push to talk so you talk to them when your not shooting. It also happens to the sniper as well just to tell you.. i don't know why, i have been working on that but it keeps on playing the zombies voices... sorry bout that.
