A cabin in a fenced off, cliffed area is over run by (omfg!) zombies (lol!) and you must face the onslaught!
Suit up, buckle down and live (for more than thirty seconds).
This was the only map ever released for this intense, arcadey, fun, zombie shooter.
This is the only community made map for "omfgzombieslol" in existence!
Try it! Play it! Get frustrated with it! Hate it! Continue playing anyways because you don't want to admit defeat! Sort of like it again!
I made this map when I was sixteen (in 2008!) for an insanely intense, very fun, hard to master, zombie mod made by another kid my age. It, like the mod itself, is very basic, unpolished, rushed and unfinished.
It's not the worst map in the world, it just breaks a lot of laws in level design. Below is a list of things to do to avoid my younger self's inexperienced-mapping-created-difficulties or his light-hearted (but dangerous) mischievousness.
Basic strategy for omfg_outdoor_arena!
- Do not open the front door. It WILL cause zombies to flood the spawn point and you will never get anything done.
- If playing with other players (Aren't you lucky?), split up. The zombie horde will (hopefully) divide and not overwhelm any one player. Try the bomb shelter and the garage for easily guarded chokepoints. In fact, the bomb shelter (with a closed door) is the single safest place to be in the map.
- Go to the bomb shelter. There's ammo, health, armor, a free .357 and soda cans for all.
- If you need ammo desperately, there's a cache hidden in the attic. (A well placed explosion may shake them down. They're off to the corner opposite of the peeled back roof.)
- If you need a break, go to the bomb shelter.
- If you're overrun (which you will be, I think I made it where there can be up to 50 zombies roaming at a time.) go to the bomb shelter.
- The ammo crates are a prank I made to mess with other players. You'll see.
- GO. TO. THE. BOMB. SHELTER.
its pretty cool)
heh, thanks.
all together, it was around eight hours of mapping.
:\
It's not very much ^^
I know, that's why I cited that fact.
hey SupaNinjaMan! can i talk to you? please...i need your help
I changed the file format from .ace to .zip, because I had totally forgotten .ace was even a thing.
Younger me had a thing for strange file formats.
