This mod is meant as a proof-of-concept/demonstration of how to create a new faction in a mod for Endless Space 2, including a whole new visual affinity and a new government.
The mod includes :
-New visual affinity : Hissho visual affinity. You can find the icons in the Resources folder to check the required format (size, colour etc).
-New government : Shogunate (Hissho only). Powered-up version of Federation, 1 more law slot, higher over-colonization threshold, government cannot be changed and Militarists are always in power.

Known issues :
-The mod is not workshop compliant - There's an issue with how the game loads visual affinities for now but the devs have been noticed and a fix is on its way (no ETA).
-Leader visuals are wonky - This is due to the fact one of the hero portraits is being used. It is currently impossible to use still images for the new factions but a fix might come in the future from the devs.
-Gui elements are missing or erroneous - this mod is only meant to get you started on how to create a major faction and is in no way finished or polished.
-Visual Ship designs are from Cravers - Due to how prefabs are loaded into the game, there's currently no way to easily add new models to the game, thus why craver ships are reused in this example. Nevertheless, It is entirely possible to modify the stats to make them different from craver ships.
How to make your own gameplay affinity :
To make a new gameplay affinity you can then reuse existing affinities, add modifiers to the simulation or use hidden Quest and Deeds triggers.
If you experience a crash, please repeat the installation steps.
