DOOM64 MUSIC BY M4CROM.
Yeap! M4cron is back with more Music, this time with DOOM64.
Doom 64 has One of the greatest horror OST of all time, and now that
Brutal DooM 64 is out with need to play it with the proper and most faithful OST
of the Original Nintendo 64 classic.
The Soundtrack that comes with the BD64 is great at some point.
A few levels does not have their orginal music, they use some tracks
from Quake64, they sound good, but not good as the originals. After level 20
they are all from Quake64 and I dont like that. For a more faithful and improved experience
I have done a Wad with the proper tracks for each level, with some additions from
their PSX counterparts for more variety ( Doom64 and PSXDooM shares muisic if you dont know..)
New Tracks, New Intermision Music (PSXDOOM), and other little surprises.
Menu Music by Andrew Hulshult.
DooM64, PSXDooM and Quake64 OST all by Aubrey Hodges.
ENJOY!
Ehhhh:v Oh, damn it
.
This can be considered fair use. It's not like M4cron is trying to exploit it for money, or using it for a purpose that takes it away from Doom 64's image.
Anyway, Doom Depot has been hosting the D64 soundtrack for a decade, and they still didnt take it down.
I almost erase it.. Glad to heard it, Thanks Mark!
Any way to make the OST PK3 file play on media players??
Not a modder or anything but I'm specifically wanting the soundtrack played during the 'prologue'(?) sequence..! as it sounds bad ***!!!
Super late answer, but yes you can. Open the pk3 with winrar or 7zip (not sure about the latter) and then you can just extract the music files as they are packed as mp3!
Nice job M4cron!
Excelent!
Does this have the original intermission track for D64?
has the original psx intermission theme.
Will this work with Brutal Doom, or will it only work with BD64?
It should work with Doom2
Nice, downloading it!
this music wad doesnt seem to work. ive loaded with it with doom 2 wad with a recent new gzdoom version and it just plays the doom 2 music. not sure what to do at this point and i have redownloaded before and it still doesnt work. so im sure what i missed here.

Where do I place this soundtrack in order to hear through Doom 64?
How do I make this soundtrack work with Brutal Doom? I'm trying "start gzdoom -file bd21RC8.pk3 -file DOOM64OST.pk3" but it's not working. Doom 64, for me, has the best soundtrike in the series. I love the dark mood of the tracks, way more immersive than ones from the original doom and doom 2 soundtrack.
I guess this is missing some necessary stuff to get it working with Doom II. I tried to see if removing the file extensions would have it working, but it also might be the file names. I'll see if I can get this to work and report back once I have.
EDIT: I got it working for Doom II by renaming the files and converting them into a wad through SLADE. I'll be Uploading that version on moddb and provide a link here. Idk if this will work with Brutal Doom 64 (haven't tested it yet). I'll see if I can make that work too.
