Removes negative effects from artifacts and balances them accordingly. IMO this balances artifacts for use with degradation. 100% compatible with any other mod as long as it doesn't change the artifact files. Compatible with version 1.4.22.
Simple mod that removes all radiation gain (for some, it was other negatives) from artifacts. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to use the Artifact Degradation option, otherwise it could be slightly OP. Buffs carry weight artifacts (15, 25, and 50 kg. This COULD be considered OP, but from a lore perspective, these are basically magic rocks so they don't really have a limit to what they can do and I personally felt the carry weight increases before were WAY too small to be of any practical use. Now you can use just 1, or carry it with you and slot it in when you need it and still have good carry weight, or more than 1 if you basically want super strength, but you will miss out on using other artifacts. They have FAAAR more utility this way IMO.) and the unique artifacts Compass and Heart of the Oasis, to better represent their incredible value compared to regular artifacts. Nothing completely OP, but you will definitely want to seek them out. Have fun!!
BUG UPDATE: Currently, Artifact Degradation is bugged in CoC. Your artifact degradation will reset to 100% whenever the game loads a new area, or you load a save. So basically, this makes this mod not quite as balanced as it could be. I really hope the Dev team can work this issue out because it is well beyond what I can fix. However, this mod is still fun to use and allows for more mix & match playstyle with artifacts without REQUIRING you to have a radiation reducing artifact, but it can definitely be a bit overpowered. I tried to see if I could balance the bug by increasing the degradation rate for artifacts, but sadly that just doesn't really work unless I were to increase the rate to a point where artifacts would stop working after about 10 minutes, which really just isn't fun. Like I said, I really hope the Dev's can squash that degradation load bug so these changes can REALLY shine:)
Also, if you find any artifacts that I may have missed in removing the negative properties of, or if you find any lesser value artifacts that are more powerful than more valuable artifacts that cover the same bonus, PLEASE let me know so I can correct it.
SIDENOTE: I recommend pairing this together with the Deadly Anomalies mod to give you a true risk/reward artifact system.
UPDATE: Nerfed Compass because it was incredibly OP. Not what I intended. Now it is fixed. Still powerful, but not game breaking anymore. Surprised nobody said anything...
This seems pretty cool, but correct me if I'm wrong, the Heart of the Oasis doesn't spawn anywhere in CoC, looking at the files you haven't added or tweaked spawns.
Oh, I actually didn't know that. I just saw it in the file and assumed it did. I never found it myself (now I know why), but I have found the Compass. Pretty new at this so I apologize. I will edit my description.
Update: I actually just looked this up. Yes, you can find the Heart of the Oasis in CoC. Other people have. So everything is all good:)
Where can you find it? I just looked trough the Jupiter anomaly files, it doesn't seem to be there.
I don't think it's in an anomaly. Compass isn't in an anomaly either. Just do a quick Google search for "call of Chernobyl heart of the oasis". I don't want to give out any spoilers.

Oasis Heart and Compass and extremely unique and can only be found in one specific area and as far as I'm aware are limited to 1 in the entire world naturally occurring. Neither are from anomalies. Compass spawns in the back of the mining tunnel in Red Forest. Oasis Heart spawns in the same exact location as it did in Call of Pripyat.

Look around Ventilation Complex.
It appears in the same place it always does, at least as of the latest patch, but does not respawn, so that's probably why its not tied to any anomaly.
The looping tunnel puzzle in the Ventilation Complex was broken a few patches ago, but it's working again. You can get in the same way you do in CoP.
Jesus Christ, have you seriously NEVER played Call of Pripyat? The Heart of the Oasis spawns in the exact same place in Call of Chernobyl as it did in Call of Pripyat. I'm not telling you how to find it because that would ruin the fun. If you really want to know just look up a youtube tutorial on how to find it.
I have found it. Finding it is tied to your achievements. It was hinted at in another post.

Through out the time I used to play I never really bothered to go look for artefacts and usually just got them from looting corpses and chances are unless they removed rads I couldn't care less about them, this makes it actually worth finding them instead of having like 3 bubbles and 2 good artifacts

Does it change the respawn time or rate? Or does it only change the radiation of the artifacts?
It doesn't change anything to do with respawn time or rate.
At last, an addon to make those anomalous rocks useful, as I used to sell them right away. Now I can run with a backpack full of mutant parts. Thanks a lot.
Does it change theyre spawn rate? from 17% to the cop 95% because i have found 0 artefact when exploring the zone for 5 hours or longer i tried to find them but it is impostible other mods don't work to chane it
No, it does not change spawn rates. You probably just need a better detector.
I want to use this mod for COP not COC i tied it and it works but most of the artifacts are have the icon of gun parts.
Because the file structures are different. Meaning, the icons that CoC uses are in different spots than in CoP.

Nope. That's not a vanilla artifact. I suspect you have other mods that add new artifacts into the game. Mine does not.
Just Was Wondering does this mod make the artifacts sell for more? i was asking do to the fact the i read the description and didn't know if the mod changes more than what was displayed there.
Not really. Some of the artifact prices were changed a little bit to reflect their new abilities, but not much really. However, the unique artifacts did have their prices drastically increased because they are the most powerful artifacts in the game and are one of a kind.
This doesnt crash when put into 1.5, but I dont believe it changes anything either.
