City at War is singleplayer mission for Men of War: Assault Squad v.2.05.15. You play as Soviet Union and try to conquer (nameless) city from Germans. Mission is not historical battle. It's been made for pure fun and challenge. Addon add new skins and model (check changelog).

Notes:
There can be performance problems at some rigs, so keep that in mind. Especially at the beginning of the mission. Mission has been tested on intel i7 3770K, OS: Linux Mint 18.1 using Wine 2.5. FPS 50-60.
If you find some problems, let me know. I will try to fix them whenever I have time.

- Divided the map into two versions. Diplexheated version and updated version. This because there are people who wants to play exactly same map as Diplexheated. (Btw, thanks for the person who tell him about my map!) Diplexheated version doesn't have the mission inside it.

- Now left side of the map doesn't look empty road to victory.
- Fixed issue which prevent you complete mission if you haven't kill -1 Germans.

- Fixed issue which made you fail mission if squad leader is unconscious.

- Fixed the Germans enthusiasm to drive the truck up to 2nd floor of a house. (Does German relocation companies work like that?)

hi there, i really like the concept of your mission. the flaws in the english you mentioned arent too big, i sadly dont got it ready right now, but they can easily be fixed.
about the difficulty i have to say that the town is getting flooded by russians even if you dont do anything, so maybe you should change that a bit?
also was i never able to finish the first mission cause the taking the 4th line archievement was not getting completed even tho no enemy on the map was alive and i had units all over the place where the marker pointed at.
Thanks for your feedpack! Which difficulty setting you are playing? I never had problem with city full of russians. AI ally almost all have only 10 units lef after 2nd line is captured.
I check those numbers anyway.
About 4th line. I check if there is some problems in script.
I found script error about 4th line. it's fixed now in v.1.01.
About balance issues. I tweaked amount of ally units helping you. Now if you don't do anything ally will be crushed by enemy. (at least it did crush ally in my test run.)

I freaking love your mission! So much fun!
I enjoy this mission, its hard and its brutal at times. My only complaint is that I can't get my units in buildings to help me take out MG placements, clear the buildings out and anti-tank guns. Its very difficult to even keep my squad alive without the cover they need. I managed to complete it though with only 5 members left alive. Still incredibly satisfied with it. I hope there will be more.

The reason you can't get into houses is simple desing choice to make mission harder and keep you fighting on the streets. Just think those houses are in so bad condition that soldiers don't want to go in there only to get killed because of some falling rubble. Or think they don't want to get in there in fear of enemy ambush. It's much more save to just light house to fire than go inside.
Will there be more? Maybe... ;)
