This addon replaces Brutal Doom v21's standard rifle with this carbine rifle, uploaded by baddude1337. I've included the iron sights and added blur to them, as to replicate the effect that Sgt Mark uses in BDv21. Dual-wielding is currently not supported, which is fine as long as you simply neglect to select it via the key bind. However, this is a feature I may implement in the future. CHANGELOG:

-Fixed twitching when switching to/from the rifle
-Added an optional KeyConf in the ZIP which disables dual wielding. Simply remove the key binding from your config and that key will be free. Simply load the KeyConf alongside the pk3 or drop it into the pk3.
-Adjusted the sprint sprite for tactical mode.
-Added and fixed sprite alignment.
-Fixed glitch reloading sprite upon starting the game.
-Replaced a couple of sprites which made the firing animation look strange.
-Added blur upon firing.
Installation: Simply extract the pk3 from the downloaded rar and load with BDv21.

do you do request? i don't like the bfg in v21 too much, i would like to see the bfg from black edition, and maybe some more weapons from black edition cause i can't use gz just zandronum :(

Just gave it a test-run on D-Touch, and it seems that the firing sound still lingers, almost as if another few shots are being fired off in the distance. Each instance of the sound, per shot fired, was slowing down my phone a little, even in short, controlled bursts. The sprites look nice, though, and looking forward to seeing variants for Dual-Wielding and Meatshields.
Meatshields are actually extremely simple to do. In fact I'll do that tomorrow. I'll also look into dual wielding tomorrow. As for the sound, it can be deleted from the pk3. Simply open it up and delete the SOUNDS folder. Doing this simply means that the sound will revert to the standard one from BD. Thanks for your feedback!
Upon further inspection of the reload animation, a frame of the loading mechanism being pulled on the originak BD21 Rifle shows up for a split second on a reload when there's already a bullet in the chamber (for a total of 31 rounds), as well as the weapon-swap animation looking jittery when switching to and from the Carbine. The only explanation I can give, based on the contents of the reskin, is that there are many duplicates of a single 7.53KB sprite, each one likeky corresponding to a positional shift on-screen, and will likely require realignment via SLADE or your editing tools of choice.

Ah yes, you're right. I actually just replaced it with a better sound. Deathlock will upload a new version soon which will reflect this change.
I vote for a single pk3 file for all of your replacements that wouls really be great!

Ey, your addons are simply great! Thank you for making and sharing them. Just some ideas, if you want.
1) I feel the Carbine has a strange firing sound. I don´t know how to explain it. But it feels strange, I don´t know why. I love the model, is great. The sound, strange. What do you think about "BD Sperglord Extreme Edition" Rifle´s sound? I like it a lot. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTEfusU8UT0)
2) BD Black Edition shotgun is great. But I've always thought the visor would be better in GREEN than in RED. I don´t know if you want or you can change it, just an idea.
3) I don´t like either BD´s BFG. I like a lot the one from Doom Death Foretold (https://www.moddb.com/mods/death-foretold), (https://i.ytimg.com/vi/UdjDDt5hJ3Y/maxresdefault.jpg), is the one from Doom 2016 (https://i.ytimg.com/vi/YcJO6VpZvsk/maxresdefault.jpg). if you cannot and this, another BFG would be also great.

Hello there! You're absolutely right in regards to the firing sound, I actually just changed it. I believe Deathlock will be uploading a patch soon which will include this.

Hi. Can you fix sound? It so silent. Everything is so cool, sprite, animation, but sound is bad.
Love these weapons but would like to be able to use them in GZDoom.
Any dual wield sprites coming soon for this addon? This addon is very nice.
I'm playing with BD v20b and this does not have its own kick sprites. When kicking, the regular BD rifle sprite shows up. Also, in that version of BD, firing sounds for this carbine are mute. I had to replace them with my own, no big deal.
If y'all want a louder sound for this addon remove the sounds folder or find sounds your own, then replace the sound. DSRIFLE is the sound name
