Hi my gaming ppl here's a Beta Release of my first Battlefield 2 map which i started 3 months ago. Bf2 Custom map Capital_Clash Beta. This has BOT support 16 in Single player and 64 in Coop mode, Huge map with tons of vehicles many bases and lakes, large city for epic Urban battles. known main issues is the mountain bases for the AI Bots i do believe because i did not create any walk ways from mountains it was unable to Mesh at this time, as i actually wanted to create helicopter launch bases only. Once off the mountains The AI Bots move out into combat as usual..my roads in general also need some work..So you can use it as is ( Recommended gameplay Coop 64 Bots) and the AI will come straight at you in merciless gamer style in air attacks :) So have fun any findings during gameplay let me know and if you wish to share mapping tutorials or advice to help me improve will be appreciated. Installation after unzipping this file place Capital_Clash folder in your bf2 Map levels ddirectory.
Hi bluehawk112 you actually did ship out alot of the other Air vehicles but that's ok, also it's
quite a different feel to the map with the middle Eastern theme with less
tree cover etc makes it appear more dry as opposed to the Asian
environment i had produced originally, but modified version quite kool actually and the new vehicles including Helicopter etc works quite well in the Singleplayer format..reminds me of
maps for one of my favourite Battlefield Mods Project reality of course :)

Thanks bluehawk112 i will continue to create various maps mainly vehicle and infantry my navmeshing in some parts still needs some reworking at a later time but i totally agree that good navmeshing is the key to a balance in singleplayer game play experience.
you can make a big map for direct collision only for tanks. And two similar maps for helicopters and airplanes,so that there are at least 25 pieces of equipment in each faction. Map I can do on my computer not installed the map editor. I would be very grateful.

Ok Nick_B seems an interesting concept.
For a first map, this was an enjoyable play. I wasn't sure about the cityscape at first as I thought it was far too spread out, but it was actually easier for my tank battles and maneuvering choppers when hogging the ground, so I soon got to like it. I don't think I've come across any BF2 maps that have a city with lots of open spaces, so it makes a change. Also, as mentioned in the comments for another of your maps, I do think the flag captures are a little too fast. (but that's just my personal preference). Also would it be possible to release a second version with a higher ticket count, maybe release it as a night map and add some assets from the SF game such as night sights. The battles are over pretty quick with the ticket count as it stands. As yet I don't know how to tweak a map to increase the ticket count. I'm sure you were able to via the option in BFV ad BF1942?
p.s. because this is your first map and because I really enjoyed playing it I gave it a 9 despite the negatives (personal to me) I mentioned above. I usually score a map for playability, looks, use of assets and balance.
Oh Thanks again i will do a night versions some time with increased ticket count :)
