Changes in patch 8.2
- Fixed menu toggle for red low health screen pulse (Found in BPSettings>Player Options)
- Fixed walking speed bug
- Fixed dead Imp body being endlessly shootable
- Fixed Player and Marine friendly fire when using the Rocket Launcher
- Fixed an issue where killing Mancubus does not trigger map events
- Buffed Mancubus Health
- Added new Mancubus death variant for Shotgun, SSG and Rocket Launcher
- Slightly buffed Cacodemon health
- Slightly reduced Chaingunguy damage
- Adjusted sound and volume for friendly Rifle Marines
- Adjusted barrel explosion effects
Changes in patch 8.1
- Fixed massive framerate drops when blood hits any type of liquid
- Player can no longer harm friendly Marines, and they cannot harm player
- There is now a regular kick when using the kick attack, the knee attack is now used with the quick melee attacks
- Headshots are more responsive and register more consistently
- Added yellow flares for ammo pick ups to make them easier to see
- Chainsaw no longer shows sparks when sawing down enemies
- Improved controller support. You can now dash in all directions on controller/Doom Touch
- Fatalities are a bit quicker (this will be worked on further in another update)
- All menu options for motionblur, strafe tilt, weapon sway and more can now be found in BP Settings
- Fixed new blood effects not showing for some monster deaths
- Added a directional damage indicator and a better visual indication for when low on health
- Adjusted Plasmagun reload and empty reload
- Improved Pistol fire animations
- Buffed Heavy Rifle damage
- Replaced Chainsaw pick ups with BFG ammo pick ups (the player starts with the chainsaw, it must be binded in the control menu to use)
- Buffed Chainsaw damage
- Fixed old weapon sprites showing when deselecting certain weapons
- Reworked deselect animations for all weapons
- Adjusted brightmaps for Plasmagun
- Adjusted muzzleflash lighting timing for Rifle
- Raised volume for enemy bullets tracers
- Fixed looping sounds playing endlessly for Rifle and Minigun when ledge climbing and firing simultaneously
- Pushing the dash key on its own will no longer initiate a dash, a directional key must be pressed first to dash
- Adjusted barrel explosion effects
- New Mancubus SSG/Explosive death animation by Skeep!
- Hellknight and Baron green blood completely fixed
- New crosshairs for all weapons
- Fixed issue where certain map decorations turned into rockets when shot
- Fixed an issue if player ledge climbed and dashed simultaneously caused invisible weapon or crash
- Additonal optimizations by BerserkerNoir to keep file size down
- Multiple fixes and refinements

Looks neat. I would recommend actually separating the music portion from this though. Reason being is because people are picky about downloading large files for a number of reasons, and people are also picky about music wads they use to play Doom.

I found this better than I expected. I will give you anything for those sounds. Even a beta to my upcoming addon. Those are actually better than I expected, they're beefy, and a lot better than any of the ones I've found... except for the ones in TiberiumSoul's mods. PM me, and we message about this whole "I will give you a beta" thing.

dude the addon have one bug when you kill the rifle zombies the bodies seem to block your movement you cant pass over them some kinda wall

Is this Project Brutality compatibile? You know. A mod for a mod of a mod.
I wish!! Because his mod has different audio scripts, it'll mix with all his other sounds and it'll all be a mess. But if he would like some of these sounds, I'll be more than happy to give him some! :D

Hu so you will work on quakers submod now since he stopped working on it for good? Consider your work stalked good sir, i loved quakers submod and i used to drop a few suggestions and bugreports for him so im really excited to see what you will do with his work:) Ive also checked out this mod now, i mean its basically brutal doom v.20 with mostly audio changes but you wouldnt belive how much that changed for the better. I always felt like the sounds were way too quiet and not really kickass so imagine my big grin when i played this one. i LOVE it finally the badass sounds for this badass mod. Cant wait for the new version with the clips fixed, that really is a problem. So whats the plan will you slowly add things from quakers mod and fix/rework them? Cause i cant wait to have the pistol and the chaingun back they were so cool~

I'll also improve and fix somethings here and there.I just fixed the clips, so now all I have to do is fix the Ammo Box and that will be set! I'm very glad you're enjoying it though!! Great to hear, i really wanna blast through some maps with the fixed version its so much more badass with the right set of sounds:)Are there any plans yet what you will add next? Im hoping for Pistol, Chaingun or the slidekick soon those were awesome but weaponbalance is an issue then, vanilla brutal doom´s arsenal is balanced differently than quakers. Whatever youre gonna do you have my support and i hope you will create an awesome mod with the resources you have now:)
Thank you!! :D The Pistol and Chaingun are definitely coming back! I'll even try to bring them next update with the Ammo fix. The slide kick, I will try add soon! I want to try to implement Quakers new gore in his final test build of his sub mod and would like to add his dark shotgun sprites. Re balancing will definitely come too! Expect these things soon! ;)

Alright! I updated it! I added the Pistol and the Ammo issue is completely fixed! I also put a couple of other stuff in there with it! Next up is that Chain Gun and much more! :D

I'm glad you're going to improve the sounds of the zombies. They feel very out of place to me. Doesn't sound possessed or demonic at all. But I like the general direction this mod is going for. Nice job overall.

More ideas I had in mind!
Could you add slings to other weapons such as the rifle? I think it would add consistency to the sprite art since the shotgun already has one.
Could you make an add-on that removes the captive marines from the game? Sometimes this space marine likes to fly solo and some maps there's a power up behind them that you can't reach without freeing them. :)
I think it would be cool if the fists had an upgrade in sound as well. Something that really demonstrated the marine's strength. They're pretty beefy dudes. So I imagine they could inflict some real pain on you.
For example, if you punch a zombie, perhaps in several hits in a row. The impact sound will be a loud crack or pop of bone or cartilage breaking. Giving you that feeling you're inflicting some serious pain.
That's all I can think of for now. :) Can't wait to try V3.

I think there a little more fitting than the other screams. They may need a little more work to give that monster effect! But I think their better than the previous ones!
I've played v3 for a bit and I overall enjoy it. :D I think it's a good base for adding/improving content. I don't see any major bugs. At least not from what I've seen.
The screams for the zombies are a step in the right direction, but not quite there yet. They do need a more monstrous tone in their scream. Something that sounds very much inhuman.
My major complaint from the experience is that the pacing of the game is too fast for my taste. I feel like the fast reloading and movement waters down the difficulty because it can be done so fast, there's no risk involved during combat.
I prefer the slower pace of the original v20 more. I'm the type of guy that likes slower paced drawn out battles. That being said, some people like a faster arcade like brutal doom experience.
To keep everyone happy, could you add the option of the original pacing back along with faster pacing? So people can choose what they want.
Gotcha! I Will most likely find a way to replace the classic mode with this idea. I still have to add the rebalances Quaker added to his Submod, that could even it out. But I'll definitely see if I can add that! And as for the screams.. I'll fix them up! Haha
I am loving this mod so far, great improvements. One thing i have noticed though is the plasma gun will stay after its picked up, it still gives ammo but the gun doesnt disappear. Keep up the good work im looking forward to more updates.

I just noticed that in regular Brutal Doom v20, the Plasma Gun stays on the ground as well after you pick you up. It looks like Mark was possibly trying to make it look like you unloaded the gun and left the empty gun on the ground and kept your own? Cause if its your first time getting the Plasma Gun, it disappears. Then if you get another one for duals it also disappears. But then the third time, it stays and you only get the ammo. Not sure, maybe was a little mistake on his part that could be fixed in 20b. In the mean time I'll see if I find somethin! ;)
