This is a demo of POSTAL 2 that came to me in a dream. Both in the dream and here, it's in the Source engine, rather than the stinky UE1.5 engine (which POSTAL 2 uses).

First demo released, some info about the mod, behind the scenes...

Posted by on

Hello everyone! It was about gahdamn time I made a mod profile.. because I thought I did, when I just made a fuckin file ;-;

Anyway, because I have nothing to announce further, as I just started making "Chapter 2 - The Streets", so.. that's all info for Chapter 2.. Anyway, I'll share some behind the scenes screenshots I made while making this. Shot with ShareX.

Floor plan

In the image above, you can see a very old version of my plan for the floors. Thankfully a friend informed me that hospitals are a lot larger, usually around 15 floors. I didn't count how many there are right now, but I'm taking a guess it's a shit ton.. with only 3 explorable, hehe..

Pictured above is a.. well I'm not overly sure, but I believe when I took this the second floor was still being created. Note the lack of even MORE messy-ness!

Here's a pic of one easter egg I put into the map. Which turned out to be veeery important to the map, as you'll find out if ya try it out *wink wink nudge nudge* I won't snitch what this is a reference to >:/

Last pic of this article, here's an outdated outside POV of the hospital levels! I enjoy how the upper levels look small, yet the lower level manages to look even smaller!

Thank you anyone for reading this, and I hope you enjoy the mod! I am planning to introduce custom textures and sounds, to make it more cool, but that's coming soon™️

Seize ya, TML.
